Firing any kind of gun anywhere at Oahu other than the Koko Head Shooting Range means Criminal Charges and Confiscation of Gun(s). Does not matter if you are a Multi $Millionaire with acres of Private Property, just takes one person reporting they heard gun shots. The only exceptions would be the few authorized Hunting Areas, with Special Hunting Permits and U.S. Military Training Areas.
All Oahu State of Hawaii Government Buildings and Federal Buildings have Airport type X-Ray Baggage Scanners in addition to metal detectors.
Anybody going to the City of Honolulu from the North Shore, "Robin's Nest" is going to use InterState H-3 not the long way around, including driving along Ala Wai Canal (vehicle was obviously on a camera trailer)
The only reason I gave this a 5 instead of a 2, is the stated U.S. Military SERE Training Thomas Magnum received as accurate. And Entertainment Value of 5 of plot and using a character that is or looks like current State of Hawaii Attorney General Ching.
