This one is a bit letdown.
In one scene Lonny is badly stabbed and in the next scene he is shown hale n hearty. Ther is commotion, chaos, blackout n a bomb blast then suddenly the Hunters r shown in a synagogue.
Ther is also an elongated scene of a dream sequence where Aaron n Murray r shown someplace in heaven which kinda breaks the momentum.
The colonel is seen murmuring a song from a commercial which takes away the serious n gloomy tone.
Lemme see if the second last n last one compensates or nah.

A Tour de force of Acting

Warning: Spoilers
The scene where Murray (Saul Rubinek) and Mindy (Carol Kane) are together with their son Aaron in the afterlife is one of the most beautiful, heart-wrenching pieces of acting I've ever seen. It was moving without being syrupy or saccharine.
The Jewish Question

Warning: Spoilers
There were some good little moments in this episode. Murray had a Jewish funeral. Afterwards Mindy imagines talking to Murray. He takes her to see their son who is painting.
Then there is a meeting between Offerman and Nazi hunter Simon Wiesenthal. Both men have differing views of what it takes to be a hunter.
Then there are moments in this episode where it just kind of repeats events from previous episodes.
Travis is partnered with another man and it does not end well.
Offerman tells Jonah how he shot 11 men in the concentration camp in order to save Jonah's grandmother. It is basically is a rehash of the human chess playing scene.
It later leads to Jonah being angry, both to Simon Wiesenthal and later to a Nazi and NASA scientist Wernher von Braun.
A surreal moment was the unveiling of The Colonel's grand plan for a final solution. Corn syrup.

Meyer should have answered Wiesenthal.

And this is the answer he should have given him: Those refraining from executing a murderer are even more guilty as that murderer.
Why? Because anyone deliberately allowing a murderer to live not only becomes guilty when or if that murderer murders again, they also have the blood of any future victim of any given would be murderers encouraged by those who let a murderer live. Making the consequences of them allowing a murderer to live far more devastating than even those caused by the murderer they let off the hook.
If we let a murderer live, the blood of his victims and of the future murder victims by murderers inspired by his release, would be on our heads, that is why a murderer must be put down. Not for revenge, but to save lives, innocent lives.

In the wake of the subway bombing Jonah is now seeing more visions of dead people. Wait didn't Lonny get shanked? Why is he standing there???
Okay so Lonny IS still there...why? -1 Star
The BL FBI she decides she's going to let Meyer go and join in the cause?
Okay really really hit and miss this ep. Some good, some really really bad writing at times. 5/10.
