A Whole New World!

Just when you think The 100 have found peace, it hits you again that they're in danger! This episode was perfectly paced, and had great relationships continuity from previous seasons. It puts our heroes in high stakes, and was really enjoyable to watch. I saw it twice now and I'm up to watch it even more! Great writing as usual! 👏🏻👏🏻

Good start with a lot of mystery...

After the last season final episode I felt I couldn't be more shocked with this series so I wonder what will happen in this season. Well... after I heard they renewed the show for the seventh season I became a little bit more hopeful because somehow it means they're sure about this season success. For now I give the premiere 9 stars.

A Breathtaking Beginning

What can I say, this premiere had everything I could ask for and then some. The cinematography, colors and visuals were breathtakingly beautiful. There were some powerful character interactions, most of which built upon what we saw happen in Season 5. Several callbacks to the pilot episode, both subtle and obvious, were so awesome to see. The world-building was great too and will only continue to get better as the season progresses. Murphy provided some great comedic relief throughout also. And of course with The 100, there will always be crazy, shocking twists and this premiere featured a couple major ones!

This episode was so great in so many ways and I think it might be the best The 100 premiere so far!! Season 6 has an incredible amount of potential and I cannot wait to see how it all pans out!

Wonderful Start

A great start that gets the plots of season 6 going straight away but also spending time to deal with the events of the previous seasons, something that season 5 needed a bit more of. Looks promising for the rest of the season!

I've loved this show since the first season but the only thing that I've had against this show is it's fear to kill of a lot main characters. Specially since Lexa they've been scared to do it (with the exception of Monty and Harper). It sort of makes you worry less about the characters as you believe that they're going to live forever. I'm glad they finally actually killed Shaw off and that they took the risk of killing someone people care about.

I'm excited for the new season. Exploring a whole new planet with new people, new adventures and new challenges. I'm just exhausted with the whole Bloodrena storyline. It needs to be retired and put to rest. So it was disappointing to see Octavia being woken up and still pissed at life.

I really hope they come up with new plots and storylines. The writers have an opportunity here to reinvent old characters. Fingers crossed they take it.

Love this show, thought that S5E13 was brilliant, and have been looking forward to this new storyline, but have these people learned nothing? They're seasoned space travellers, but they rush down to the surface of this new "planet" seemingly within hours of coming out of the cryronics, leave the safety of the landing ship and plan to sleep on the beach without nary a thought? They know next to nothing about the effects of the two suns and what kind of life forms might exist in this situation, but apparently common sense and past experiences are wasted on this crew. Believing in the science itself is irrelevant here. Heck if they'd waited even a couple hours they'd have discovered it was a moon, not a planet. They could have skirted the skies above and had a look see at the layout. Oh, and they're landing on a potentially hostile planet, but don't lock their ship? Seems to me they got what they deserved. And don't get me started on Octavia going under all zen and apologetic, but waking up in kill mode again. Or Raven's character waking up in full makeup. Her character never wore any obvious makeup before, but apparently 125 years in cryogenics makes you an automatic diehard Maybelline customer. The actress playing her is one of the most naturally beautiful women I've ever seen -- and interestingly enough she looked far superior on this show tousled and makeup free then she does in any of the press photos in her biography -- whoever does her makeup in them has succeeded in only diminishing her natural beauty into something cheap and mundane.

Watching this, I'm thinking maybe the human race deserves to die off, cos there ain't no cure for stupid. I'm not looking so forward to the rest of the season now neither. Writers, get it together and don't waste the amazing possibilities you created in the last season with this level of... gunk.

A lot to work with

Had the impression that it was a bit rushed at times. Especially the first dialogues. And they somehow looked a bit weird, but maybe that is just my television.

Typical opening episode for The 100. Their emotions from earth are still very much there - they are more relevant then I expected - and there are already a lot of new elements. And that's even before they meet someone new.

Shaw's death was quite sudden, but in a way that's why I love The 100 as wel.

So new so original

So pointless to kill this character

It was really disappointing to see Shaw die, he could have been a cool character and finally, something good was happening for Raven. (I found out the actor made the decision to leave but it still felt really underwhelming). Reviving Kane just to lose him minutes later and freeze him again felt pointless too, waste of the screen time. Murphy went back to annoying after seasons of character development. I think this is the first episode of The 100 that I hated. New storyline and planet seem interesting though.

Every episode of this show has me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. I have a rollercoaster of emotions Anxiety is probably the one that hits me most I almost need to take anxiety breaks lol. Then tears of sadness and joy. I'm a mess!

This episode is no different. Love the recap from Monty's POV, love the time jump and love the whole new direction. I'm trying to write this without giving anything away and its tricky.

If you haven't watched this Series I suggest binge watching it on Netflix but take some breaks to catch your breath lol

Awesome beginning.

Episode 6.01 (4 out of 5 stars).

After the survivors in space come across a new foreign planet which they may have found a new home. Bellamy, Clarke, Murphy and others search the strange planet. Which there is a mysterious secret about the unknown planet than meets their eye.

A perfect start for the season. The characters are hoping to be a better person and have a fresh start. Some characters are stuck with their conflict from the last season like Raven is mad at Abigail for her addiction. And does not trust her. Octavia is conflicted about their actions. I am excited to see where this season goes next.

This show is one of the best I've seen in a long time but my one complaint is that the writers could have been a bit more creative with Octavia at this point. I am so sick of her attitude.

Shaw died

Why ? Why monty died and shaw died and the most gruesome character clarke cant be die because she is the leading lady. I' m sorry for that. I hate clarke and her child.

Octavia's little speech to Kane and Abby is my favorite scene in this episode! They act like they're so much better than her but they've got just as much blood on their hands (if not more). The difference between them is that at least Octavia doesn't pretend she's morally superior. Well if you remember Nylah was Fiercely loyal to Octavia as Bloodreigna in season 5 so of course she woke her up. The actor who plays Shaw got a really big role on another show so that is why he got killed off!!!! He was really sad about it but he said that he could not do both shows! Time for everyone else to hear the truth about what really happened in the bunker. Blodreina took all of the blame for everything that happened, while she was taking advice from people like Gaia, Indra, Jaha, Kane, and Abby. She's not a monster. She's a leader. It is possible for a moon to become earth-like under specific conditions and I thought that it was very interesting that they made Alpha an earth-like moon. This season will be fun lmao, Yassssss this season is INSANE! Also can I say I HATE that everyone is hating on Clarke. Like she isn't my favorite character (she is definitely in the top 10 though) but, she has sacrificed SO much for them first her innocence, then her humanity even though she tried her HARDEST to hold onto it. She had to choose who lived and died when there weren't enough spots for Praimfaya and was judged by the VERY PEOPLE who TOLD HERbto make a list. It's easy to judge her when she HAS to make all the decisions! BUT, all of that aside can I just say how much I LOVE Echo I loved her in this and last season she was surprisingly one of my favs and one of the most level headed. I also love that she has a stood up for both Octavia and Clarke and has called out those who judged there choices that they HAD to make. I also ADORE Miller and Jackson lol they're both KINGS.

Decent Kickoff to the Sixth Season

It's like the show is starting all over again, starting at square one. What a beautiful planet! The essential people are now awake and sniping at each other, so at least that aspect didn't change.

• Cryosleep did them well. I see tans and really white teeth and weight loss and super cute hairdos. I need to ask my local spa if they offer cryogenic services.
• Raven and Shaw are really cute together. I'm glad my prediction of his death didn't come true because Raven deserves happiness in her life for once. She's had too many tragedies happen to her.
• Clarke again whines that she's sorry for betraying everyone and continues to throw everyone else's mistakes in their face. Charming.
• Everyone is so quick to forgive each other except for Octavia. Let it go. She at least learns from her mistakes. I think she has done quite well for herself considering she lived under a floor most of her life.
• This new planet is gorgeous! Judging by the track records of the remaining survivors, they'll destroy this one before the year is up. There has to be a reason it's deserted though. Killer bugs? Murderous polar bears? Who knows?
• As someone who resents wearing pants and hates them with every fiber of my being, watching Murphy jump into the water with them on hurt my soul. I can't think of anything more uncomfortable than pants, except for maybe wet pants. Gross.
• Why is Abby so rude? She's the one who has betrayed and hurt everyone who stood in the way of her next fix. She has the attitude of someone who doesn't think she deserves the anger of others around her, like she never did anything wrong. It was the pills talking, not her. This won't go over well.
• I. Hate. Bugs. And now they turn into face-sucking little psychos? No, thank you. Send me back to space.
• OH COME ON. I JUST SAID I was happy I was wrong about what I thought was Shaw's inevitable death. And now his cause of death is...electrocution by radiation? Seriously? You couldn't even give him two episodes? I mean, at least 3/4 of an episode? Cruel.
• I am not usually a fan of Murphy, but Clarke and Miller have no right to get pissed at him. They've both done terrible things too, and Murphy doesn't keep his motives secret.
• Oh. They found Oz. Or Wonderland. Ozerland. Lots of pretty colors. No worries, citizens of Ozerland. The earth aliens are here to destroy it.
• Dammit, don't kill Kane. I still like him even though he was pretty irrelevant the last season other than to make a deal that he knew would never be honored.
• Bellamy and Clarke have crazy chemistry. I'm not a fanatical shipper person but I truly think they would make a fantastic couple. Other than the whole Clarke willing to let Bellamy die a couple of times. It was just twice, right? Three times would be a problem.
• Oh, yeah. I'm going to love this season. That little kid's book was creepy AF. They don't need a red sun to turn on each other though. They do it daily.

Decent start to the new season. Most shows usually run out original ideas and can start to stale after a few years, but I feel like this season will be a good turnaround for The 100. Excited to see what happens next.

A new beginning for all of them. New chance. We got some aftermath discussions. A new planet to discover. The 100 is doing better than ever. Character's conflict is getting more intense.
