Immersive cinematography & great atmosphere

It's well shot, well performed, and atmospheric. The opening few minutes reminded me why I love Chazelle's work: gritty, immersive, and realist.

I wasn't blown away by the pilot, however it's a solid start for the show and I will keep on watching.

It was too sudden

What a fabulous way to open up a series! Decent music with unique visual language! Andre Holland is fabulous!
