A dangerous deal...
ilklucg23417 May 2018
Bellamy tries to make a deal with the prioners. Raven and Murphy are waiting for orders. Octavia lets Marcus fight for his freedom.

This was an intense episode. It was suspenseful all throughout and I loved all the character moments we got, while at the same time I was a bit frustrated with some of them. It seems like this is going to be an action-packed season. I definitely like that, but I hope we will also get a few new and interesting interactions as well, and that people like Jackson, Miller, Harper, Emori and Echo get their own story lines. They, at this point, are very underdeveloped.

The biggest critique I have though is that at this point, except Shaw, all the villains are exactly that. Villains. And I think it would be much more interesting if we saw a bit more of their human side.

Other than that, I really enjoyed this episode. And I am definitely looking forward to the next one.

This season continues to amaze me. Just 4 episodes in and it's easily the best season of the 100 so far. All the reunions were great and I really liked Murphy In this one too. It seems this show has created an amazing opportunity to start this new story and it's the best one yet. Giving This episode a 10/10

The one who always wants to kill someone is called paxton MCcreary
Neptune1655 October 2022
Warning: Spoilers
"400 less than you should have" , but it´s 800 more than she should have. Remember, they shouldn´t be able to survive more than 5 years in that bunker. Second best line by Kane strength without mercy is nothing. The arena does not deliver justice. Its evil. Octavia sanctioned fights for entertainment not justice. All of the people fangirling over Octavia seem to forget she was about to murder Kane. That is not a leader and that is murderer. Octavia blames Bellamy for everything. Gets brainwashed and kills 300 people with 29 other people, so about 30 of them? She beats him up. Blames him until the last minute of the end of the world. Threatens him. Makes a deal with people to get them out of the bunker? But she threatens those said people with her eyes and one of them snaps. Still, it's his fault they're going to war. But then she kills 400 people she was supposed to protect and gets called Skairipa for being a mass murderer and it's okay. People even call her a badass. I don't get it. I like her, but her attitude towards her brother is so unfair when she's killed the same amount of people with no motivation other than "it's just who I am now, I've changed." Abby took pain killers after losing Clarke and thinking she was dead, I guess she got addicted to them. 'Daddy's home' scene was brilliant. It was the most epic 'like a boss' moment ever. Clarke was broken, she was alone, she already lost her fight and was just trying to protect Madi. She had no hope, she had no one to fight on her side. And there she sees people coming from her past, who won't mess around, people who will fight for her and they are gonna whip some ass! This scene was epic from any angle.

Pandora's box has been opened

Pandora's Box is an absolutely incredible episode. It is right on par with (and possibly even better than) last week's "Sleeping Giants," which I personally consider to be the best episode of The 100 so far. With many emotional reunions & crazy moments, this episode did not disappoint in the slightest. The plot has been set for the rest of Season 5 and with war is on the horizon, we're bound to be in for an insane ride!

10/10 episode!!!

Next one is even better. you'll see

Warning: Spoilers
I love Octavia far too much to write her off quite yet. I think the 'dark year' (which I believe is the title of a future episode) will shed a lot more light on how she became who she is. Throughout this episode, I saw small signs that Octavia hasn't completely lost herself - her eyes softened for a split second when Kane was talking about mercy, her eyes flickered to the crowd in the fighting pit to gauge their reactions (at least in the confined space of the bunker, she can't afford to lose their respect or else she would either have a kill them one by one like in 5x02 or there would be a mutiny), and most of all, you really saw her vulnerability when she jumped into her brother's arms. Yes, she has adopted a more ruthless persona over the 6 years, but I still have hope she will turn things around. Is it annoying that she immediately blamed Bellamy for Dioza's betrayal? Absolutely! Is she going to continue to be bull-headed and make rash decisions? Probably so. But I have faith in the writers, who always create complex characters - even if they are seen more as villains - and won't give up on her. Still a fan of O. I think it's safe to say the people in the bunker changed the most during the time skip. Ocatavia became this cold leader, while Kane became a pacifist who's refusing to accept the ways of Wonkru (i think this was said in an interview as well). And it's obviously still unknown what exactly happened during the dark year, but most people think it is about the food shortage that was already mentioned in ep2 (they were also already 1 year longer in the bunker then it was originally planned for) and might have involved cannibalism.

How many times: "TRUST me" is the beginnig of all mistakes and that's why the series go on. You can make better twist or make the "miners" smarter. Just because Bellamy Blake did not tell the plan to his sister ... COME on!!! Everyone would do : Wooow my sister is alive , hay sis we survive but this "miners" want to kill us we have there friends hostages so we need them to dig you out , watch your back!!!
