Call of Duty continues to keep players engaged in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone. While Season 3 for the battle royale is about to end, new changes are coming in Season 4.
No official details yet but it appears insiders know of one gun making an appearance very soon. The Spas-12 is returning for the new season alongside an Akimbo attachment. Longtime CoD players may not like hearing about Akimbo shotguns in Season 4.

Moritz Mohr’s Boy Kills World is what happens when you toss The Hunger Games, Mortal Kombat, Happy!, and Crank into a blender. While that sounds rad, the slurry of upbeat action and nonsense plot tangles is much more baffling in execution. Mohr’s vision borrows heavily from button-mashy videogames and dystopian graphic novels, blending Cyberpunk futurism with real-world dictatorship commentaries. There’s a message about fascism and rebellion somewhere in Mohr’s madcap martial arts violence, but it’s lost under the piles of enemy corpses. Boy Kills World never knows the movie it wants to be past a killing spree, as the story makes one poor choice after the next, like a genre satire that becomes what it tries to parody.

Actors and actresses have their own most liked and disliked moments in their projects they become a part of, which can oftentimes, be the complete opposite of what the fans think about the same. For Daniel Radcliffe, the moment was the iconic ‘7 Harrys’ scene.
This particular scene, which was introduced in Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows – Part One, became a fan favorite since it featured Radcliffe doing different takes in different outfits of other characters.
Daniel Radcliffe in a still from Guns Akimbo
But according to the actor himself, he revealed that it was probably one of his lesser loved scenes to shoot for his role as Harry Potter in the franchise because it was exhausting. On the other hand, he was also excited while shooting this segment because he got to realize how he could easily play the role of Emma Watson’s Hermione Granger while he wore ladies’ clothing.

Samara Weaving is buckling up for 20th Century Studios forthcoming heist thriller Eenie Meanie. Sitting shotgun for the project is Karl Glusman, with writer-director Shawn Simmons at the helm. Producing the fast-paced thriller is Deadpool franchise alums Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick.
In Eenie Meanie, Samara Weaving plays Edie, “a former teenage getaway driver who is dragged back into her unsavory past when a former employer offers her a chance to save the life of her chronically unreliable ex-boyfriend.” (via Deadline)
Glusman hits the pavement as John, Edie’s recurrent boyfriend. Despite their differences, Edie feels compelled to pull John out of the flames of a terrible situation.
As one of my favorite actors in the business today, Samara Weaving is a force of nature. For some of her best performances, check out Joe Lynch’s Mayhem. The 2017 action-comedy is like Office Space meets The Raid and is a must-watch.

American Psycho starring Christian Bale released back in 2000. The character of Patrick Bateman was done to perfection by the then-kind-of-unknown Bale, and things haven’t been the same since. It’s not easy to pull off a character that has the looks, charm, is a good actor, and a little bit of a freak.
And maybe that was the reason the studio back then wasn’t too keen on casting Bale in the lead role. But to their pleasant surprise, the actor gave a performance worthy of being written in the pages of cinematic history.

Ethan Hawke, Daniel Radcliffe, and Jessica Biel will pack their gear for Batso, a film based on the true story of three groundbreaking climbers who scaled the iconic peak El Capitan in Yosemite National Park in the early 1970s.
Kyle Marvin directs from a screenplay by Eamon O’Sullivan, with Ethan Hawke playing Warren “Batso” Harding and Daniel Radcliffe as Dean Caldwell, the first climbers to challenge the incredibly daunting sheer face El Capitan route known as “The Wall of Early Morning Light.” Meanwhile, Jessica Biel plays Beryl Knauth, a trend-setting climber and Warner’s romantic partner.

“Smash,” the TV series about the making of a fictional Broadway musical, takes an early step toward becoming a real-life Broadway musical on Sept. 22, with a pair of industry readings led by Tony nominees Robyn Hurder and Kerry Butler.
Hurder plays Ivy, an actress cast in the lead role of a new musical about Marilyn Monroe, and Butler appears as Karen, Ivy’s understudy. Their characters share the names of two pivotal roles in the TV show, which also focused on the development of a Marilyn Monroe musical called “Bombshell.”
While it retains the series’ most recognizable elements, the musical adaptation of “Smash” departs in other ways with a storyline and cast of characters that are inspired by the series but not direct translations. “It’s definitely a new script,” said director Susan Stroman of the musical’s book by Bob Martin (“The Prom”) and Rick Elice (“Jersey Boys”). “It...

August isn't especially famous for its great movies. As months go, the eighth one on the calendar has often been a bit of a wasteland for Hollywood, as blockbusters peter off, kids have a lot less free time and money, and studio executives need to find somewhere to dump their proverbial dead bodies.
If you want a good example, you can pretty much throw a dart at any year after "Jaws" popularized the concept of summer blockbuster season. For example, let's take a look at 1993. 30 years ago, August was a month for dreck comedies like "Son of the Pink Panther," family film misfires like "Father Hood" and "Surf Ninjas," and the weird-ass "Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday."
But then again, there are exceptions to every rule. There were also a few excellent motion pictures in August 1993. The increasingly timeless classic "The Fugitive" came out that month, along with...

At a time in Hollywood’s history when reprising career-defining roles is all the rage, Harry Potter franchise star Daniel Radcliffe says he has no interest in returning to the Wizarding World for Max‘s forthcoming Harry Potter TV series. The series is said to be a 10-year endeavor featuring an all-new cast for an in-depth exploration of the fantasy novel series created by J.K. Rowling. Sources close to the project say it could be years before the show premieres, with a 2025/2026 window being likely.
Despite being proud of his years as Harry Potter, Radcliffe has worked very hard to separate himself from the role in the years since the conclusion of the original film series. After playing the “Boy That Lived,” Radcliffe redefined his Hollywood status with unique roles in films like Guns Akimbo, Swiss Army Man, The Woman in Black, Victor Frankenstein, and The Lost City. It’s summer time on Hulu and that can only mean one thing. With its list of new releases for June 2023, Hulu is bringing back last summer’s unexpected hit.
FX’s The Bear season 2 premieres all episodes on June 22. If you’re not already captivated by this intense culinary story about the little Italian beef shop that could, definitely catch up now. This time around, Carmy (Jeremy Allen White) and friends will attempt a major foodie rebrand. The only other Hulu series of note this month is the docuseries The Age of Influence. Premiering on June 5, this doc will examine the dark side of influencer culture.
Just like its corporate partner Disney+, Hulu will premiere Eva Longoria’s directorial debut, Flamin’ Hot, in June 9. The movie tells the true story of Frito-Lay janitor Richard Montañez (Jesse Garcia) who created an iconic snack that forever changed the food industry. Also...

With Evil Dead Rise now in theaters around the world, I had a chance to catch up with Lily Sullivan and Alyssa Sutherland, who told me all about their introductions to the original "Evil Dead" films and their on-set experience!
New Line Cinema and Renaissance Pictures present a return to the iconic horror franchise, “Evil Dead Rise,” from writer/director Lee Cronin (“The Hole in the Ground”). The movie stars Lily Sullivan, Alyssa Sutherland, Morgan Davies, Gabrielle Echols (“Reminiscence”) and introducing Nell Fisher (“Northspur”).
Moving the action out of the woods and into the city, “Evil Dead Rise” tells a twisted tale of two estranged sisters, played by Sutherland and Sullivan, whose reunion is cut short by the rise of flesh-possessing demons, thrusting them into a primal battle for survival as they face the most nightmarish version of family imaginable.

Netflix has ordered its first ever pilot. The streaming giant, which has typically opted to order projects straight to series, has greenlit a pilot for the single-camera comedy “Little Sky,” Variety has confirmed.
Samara Weaving is attached to star in the pilot, which hails from creator Rightor Doyle.
According to an invidual with knowledge of the situation, Netflix does not plan to shift to the traditional broadcast model of ordering multiple pilots and comparing them for potential series orders. The “Little Sky” pilot is the only one planned at present.
Nevertheless, the fact that Netflix is willing to order a pilot is significant. The streamer has heavily influenced broadcast networks and other outlets in recent years into using a script-to-series model and mini rooms, the latter of which are a sticking point in the current WGA negotiations. To that point, the number of pilots ordered at the major broadcast networks...

After kicking ass and taking names in movies like Ready or Not, Guns Akimbo, and Mayhem, Samara Weaving is traveling through time to lay the smackdown on the era of high hair, neon windbreakers, and thrash metal! According to Deadline, Weaving will star in Bella, a 1980s-set action thriller from Larysa Kondracki.
Kondracki directs the feature, with Craig Flores producing through Bread & Circuses Entertainment alongside John Wick’s Chad Stahelski through his 87Eleven banner. Jason Spitz and Alex Young executive produce, with Jesse Wigutow writing based on Jason Markarian’s script.
Set during a 1980s crimewave in New York City, Deadline says Bella is a “hyper-stylized action thriller about a cop’s daughter who, after her father clings to life following an assassination attempt, goes on a rampage to unearth her father’s assassin and weed out deep-rooted corruption in the New York City Police Department.”

Daniel Radcliffe is either known for playing the boy who lived in "Harry Potter" or for playing some eclectic guy in the newest super-weird movie. In "Guns Akimbo," the actor gives up his wand for guns to defeat his enemies. The Jason Lei Howden-helmed film stars Radcliffe as a down-on-his-luck video game developer who becomes the next participant in a real-life death match that streams online. Oh, and one day he wakes up with guns physically bolted to his hands. He is forced to go on the run even before he can get completely used to his hands being out of order and is chased by Nix (Samara Weaving), a relentless killer at the top of her game.
The fast-paced action movie follows Radcliffe struggling with the consequences of wielding guns on his arms, wearing only a robe and slippers, and navigating cartoonishly violent, inescapable situations. When Radcliffe read...

In the spring of 2020, two films starring Daniel Radcliffe came out, almost back-to-back.
In Escape From Pretoria, he played Tim Jenkin, the real-life anti-apartheid activist and former political prisoner who in 1978 was part of a daring and successful breakout — using secretly made wooden keys — from a South African jail.
In Guns Akimbo, he played Miles, a computer programmer in a bonkers near-future who wakes up one morning to find that a criminal kingpin’s gang of henchmen — including a masked guy called Fuckface — had bloodily bolted guns onto each of his hands.
For those who had been keeping an eye on Radcliffe’s post-Harry Potter career, this quick-fire double of taut historical prison thriller and insane action-comedy sci-fi felt like the perfect summary as he neared almost a decade since leaving one of the world’s most successful movie franchises.

Damien Chazelle’s Babylon will beat Santa to the Christmas punch by going wide on December 23. Initially, Babylon would have a limited release on Christmas Day in New York and Los Angeles before expanding wide in January. Now, the Chazelle-directed period piece is occupying prime holiday real estate and is competing against movies like 20th Century’s Avatar: The Way of Water and Universal/Dreamworks Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.
According to the official synopsis for Babylon, the film is “an original epic set in 1920s Los Angeles led by Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, and Diego Calva, with an ensemble cast including Jovan Adepo, Li Jun Li, and Jean Smart. A tale of outsized ambition and outrageous excess, Babylon traces the rise and fall of multiple characters during an era of unbridled decadence and depravity in early Hollywood.”

After having huge success within a young adult franchise, many young actors try to distinguish themselves and make a clean break from their family-friendly roots. Just look at the careers of former "Twilight," "Hunger Games," and "Harry Potter" stars, like Josh Hutcherson, Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Daniel Radcliffe. As they set out to do more serious adult work, many of them also embraced roles that were kind of weird. In Radcliffe's case, he grabbed onto the weirdest roles possible and never let go, and will soon star as one of the kings of weird in "Weird: The Al Yankovic Story," which debuts on Roku on November 4, 2022.
In the latest issue of Total Film magazine, Radcliffe opened up about his decision to chase truly unusual roles and why he's continued to tackle some of the biggest oddballs in all of TV and cinema. Like his fellow "Harry Potter" film alum Pattinson,...

Jason Lei Howden has directed a couple of very cool movies – Deathgasm and Guns Akimbo – and his third feature is already sounding quite promising. Deadline reports that Howden will be directing a film called Monsters of Metal, based on the comic book he created with Llexi Leon. The first issue of Monsters of Metal won’t be in stores until October 19th, and is coming our way from Opus Comics.
Monsters of Metal is described as “an R-rated mockumentary – a cross between Spinal Tap and The Monster Squad“, since it’s about a bunch of iconic monsters who are in a heavy metal band. Here’s the comic’s description:
Frankenstein’s monster (named Frank) and his bandmates Medusa, Jack O’Lantern, Werewolf and the Bride have spent the last few centuries squatting in Dracula’s castle – unbeknown to their slumbering host. But after a band rehearsal gets out of hand and wakes the fearsome vamp,...

In the years since Daniel Radcliffe first threw on those famous glasses and saved the world as the boy wizard in the "Harry Potter" franchise, the talented actor has since completely reimagined his image multiple times over. He's been the hunchback Igor in "Victor Frankenstein," a farting corpse relearning the ways of the world in the Daniels' brilliant feature debut "Swiss Army Man," a totally unassuming guy who gets guns nailed to his hands in "Guns Akimbo," and most recently a delightfully mustache-twirling villain in "The Lost City." Now, however, Radcliffe is in for his weirdest role yet -- by far.

After years of false starts, The Crow is finally coming back to life with a brand new movie from director Rupert Sanders (Snow White and the Huntsman, Ghost in the Shell), with Bill Skarsgård (It) leading the cast as Eric Draven and singer/actor FKA Twigs co-starring. THR updates on the project tonight, reporting that Danny Huston (30 Days of Night) has signed on.
“Details of Huston’s character were not revealed,” THR notes.
The Crow reimagining is finally happening for real this time, as The Hollywood Reporter also notes that the film is “now weeks-deep in production in the Czech Republic.”
Zach Baylin (King Richard) is writing the script, with the new movie of course based on James O’Barr’s original graphic novel that spawned a previous feature film franchise.
Producers on this fresh new reimagining include Molly Hassell, Victor Hadida (Resident Evil and Silent Hill franchises), John Jencks,...

J.J. Perry started his career in Hollywood by getting hit by cars. Now, he’s taking on his first project for the big screen. In “Day Shift,” Perry used his extensive knowledge of stunts and action scenes to create vampire-slaying sequences with garlic grenades, katanas and silver bullets.
“I prepped this movie so hard,” Perry told Variety Wednesday evening at the red carpet premiere for the film in Los Angeles. “I think we ended up with, like, 65 setups. [The first day on set] was the opening fight in the grandma’s house. We shot that in three days. It would usually take people about five or six days. We were ready. We knew what we were doing. A bunch of action guys doing action stuff.”
