A eye opening heart rending story

Only Love Matters is a very moving well made film. Intersexuality is not widely know subject which makes the film even more important. The whole Team treated the story with such sensitivity and dignity still managing to cleverly introduce some humour even though the lead character lived such a difficult life. From the confusion and hardship as a young child through to the end of the story the film also encompasses other social and culturally distressing topics in a very honest way. In short, only Love and the strength of the human character prevail.

Further information would give the story away SO you simply MUST SEE THIS FILM.

Inspirational film

I got to view Only Love Matters at it's premier in Southampton, part of Southampton Film Week. This film has taught me so much about intersex as I was not aware of this term before. The film has amazing cinematography. It's also very emotional pice to view and has characters people will be able to relate to. The pace of the film is really good , it keeps the story line moving forwards but at a pace which really gives the emotion, this is credit to the director and editor.

This film is going to inspire others to research and learn more about intersex and is going to help raise awareness.

Really am excited to see the film again.

A Movie with a beautiful Message

The story circles around two women (an intersex mother and a daughter). It gives you entertainment, laugh and importantly a message and information we never came across regarding intersex bodies and their issues in an awesome way. A movie that can be watched among all group ages of family member. I watched the film in BFI Southbank cinema London. This movie delivers a brilliant informative message for society regarding the due respect and honour for intersex bodies. We all must exercise it and let them enjoy the life as God has bestowed upon them with their own built up and emotions.

Only Love Matters is a really nice movie to watch. It's a soft romantic movie based on intersex characters and their issues. It's a great movie that can create a good awareness of the topic. People usually mix intersex with transgender and do not know the difference between the two and their issues. It's a must-watch movie.

It's a research-based movie that can help remove misconceptions and negative perceptions. Intersex are born with underdeveloped sex organs of neither a male nor female. They should be given a choice of which sex or gender they prefer for themselves and they should be respected for their choice.

Film producer Dr Eram and film director Dr Kamran have done a great job of making this movie a great success.

Expect a roller coaster of emotion! The first British film to examine the little known subject of intersex people and the prejudices they face in society. Decisions are made at birth as to weather they shall live as male or female, which can involve irreversible surgery. However, the film celebrates the two main intersex characters resilience and eventual acceptance by people who truly love them for who they are.

The cinematography, especially the scenes in India, are visually stunning. The actors handle their roles with empathy, pathos and the right amount of vulnerability. There are twists and turns that make it a very emotional watch but I cannot recommended it enough.

Only Love Matters, was truly inspiring, following the story of an intersex individual has never really been seen before, but highlights an incredibly overlooked scenario, building awareness on the matter. The narrative is very well structured and shows several stages of the protagonist's life, bad and good. Accompanied by beautiful cinematography and original songs, this film is truly a good watch.

The film does extremely well at character development, from the early stages of childhood, all the way until late adulthood, marriage, and adoption. By the end, you feel a genuine connection with the subjects, which is very heart-warming.

I do very much recommend this film to anyone, this film follows a story and issue which is rarely discussed but equally shows importance of how awareness can change our perceptions.

'Only Love Matters' is a pioneering, entertaining and powerful piece of cinema. Featuring two lead intersex characters, it's a trailblazing tale of love against the odds where tolerance and empathy are not always in evidence for those who don't fit the conventional societal definitions of what constitutes 'normal'. The central performances are strong, the cinematography impressive (particularly the scenes filmed in India) and the film defiantly wears it heart on its sleeve, so be prepared for a very emotional watch. Coming in at just over 90 minutes, it's a concise piece and may have benefited from an extra fifteen minutes to allow the 'parallel stories' plotline and character arcs to develop more fully. That said, 'Only Love Matters' is an immersive, inspirational and sincerely emotive film which will leave you both intellectually stimulated and emotionally drained. In an age of one-dimensional blockbusters it's important that films like this are being made; even if only to remind us all that - at the end of the day - maybe it is only love that truly matters.

A unique masterpiece

This film represents a completely different aspects of our lives which we perhaps have been ignoring so long, brining up a sensitive and touch me not subject of intersex and the way they and their related people are treated in our society with sober and fun elements mixed was astounding. I really appreciate this must watch movie and applaud the effort of entire team specially the director and producer for portraying thé sensitive subject in delicate manner. I am expecting this movie brings the awareness amongst people to show respect towards those who have not been born with bodies natural like us.
