Great action with deep drama, well played. I don't like science fiction, but I could ignor the unrealistic part and enjoy the enjoy the deep character drama and fast action

The best scene was the nasty MI5 officer Grace Morrigan going to see Elaine's son at the hospital and getting attacked. It was nice to see her getting a dose of her own medicine. I still find it hard to fathom why she cares so much about Hard Sun. The world is going to end in 5 years, surely there are better things to do with your life?
The rest of the episode is Neil Cross's rip off of his own Luther series. We even get Dermot Crowley who plays Luther's boss turn up as a priest who has heard a confession from a troubled aid worker who is going on a killing spree of murdering good Samaritans to show that God does not exist. The leaked Hard Sun report has inspired or unhinged him further.
So just another serial killer of the week story, the fate of the world is on hold.
