The clash between the image of space isolation, rich technology and the pact with the devil is the best part of this new episode of serie in which the technology and the presence of Robert Wieckiewicz is more significant than the story itself. A nice Sci. Fi. with Gothic traits, some flavor of popular fairy tales from Central Europe and a seductive presence of the evil.

Warning: Spoilers
"Legendy Polskie Twardowsky" or "Polish Legends: Twardowsky" is a Polish 9-minute short film from 2015 and as the director here is Tomasz Baginski, it needs to be said that this is a live action movie and not animated like his earlier efforts that also brought him an Oscar nominations. It is one of the shortest "Polish" legends films, but there is a pretty long sequel, which puts things in perspective again. It's the story of a very rich man spending some fun time while earthlings presume him dead. He is played by Robert Wieckiewicz, one of Poland's most known actors these days, at least inside the country, abroad maybe not so much. And this one gets a visit by the Devil, or somebody working for the devil, and that visitor sure is hot as hell. Sorry had to go there. But many questions are left unanswered, like why would he trade civilization and a great life for solitude and maybe these will get answered in the second part. But while I believe this is better than most other films from the series probably ,I still did not leave a lasting impression on me. Baginski was best when he focused on animation and even if I am glad it was this short, I give this one here a thumbs-down. Not recommended and if you still want to check it out, make sure you get a good set of subtitles if you aren't fluent in the Polish language. Shouldn't be too difficult with the millions of views this has racked up on Youtube in not even 2 years.
