You guys are doing a wonderful job. Only this episode i watched twice but not only one third from beginning. you must concentrate to improve celebrity session and also loosing interest at end.

Really similar to the old Top Gear , the bits in Dubai were fun. May in the VW was good, he's much better at reviews now, too bad we don't have the Up! Model here. The two unknown British guys was a bit of a bore. And Clarkson trolling the Hoonigan was a highlight, a dig at New Top Gear, including the crashes. Actual LOL.

Worse, worse and what can I say? Worse!

It started quite well, but not much as someone (Richard Hammond) was destroying many things with a tank, plants, objects in a mall, but I would think that everything was fake, so just to shoot a movie and that's stupid... two unknown celebrities, then the final stage... the big belly damaged a Subaru STI and then he killed 11 sheep... why should that have been funny? The audience cheered... probably payed for. Anyway my only hope is that the stupid old fat belly didn't harm any animals and everything was fake, just for the show, otherwise this show should be cancelled for good. However I'm totally disappointed. 2 stars is even too much.

Old Top gear mixed with GT flavor and sprinkled with some goofiness

This episode just bought back old top gear memories. Hamster's Dubai trip was absolutely phenomenal. VW UP review was the highlight of the show (imo) as Captain Slow reviewed that lil' hatchback very well and also gave us a bit insight on the history of VW Golf. I m starting to prefer James over the other two for reviewing cars on the Eboladrome. And then there was Conversation street which was filled with car news. The jokes and bits in that segment again bought memories of old TG's The News segment. Clarkson's dig at Ken Block and the new TG was absolutely hilarious. Half of the viewers just seemed to missed the point of that segment and so gave the episode a bad review. The only let down was the celebrity segment which was plain boring. I skipped that part right up to the point where they actually have a face off. All in all this was a fantastic episode and next week it will get more car-ry as the blokes will drive old jags across Colorado and compete in some old TG challenges.

A good episode - but killing sheep?! WTH?

I actually do like the constant improvement of the show, and I liked much of the elements of this episode as well (like the GTi comparison, celebrity face-off or Richard fooling around in the desert), however, the end of show just totally ruined an otherwise enjoyable program. I liked when Clarkson challenged the youtube videos (and their credibility), but when i saw what he has done on that field, I just couldn't smile any more. How can they let this to happen? Or once happened, air it? Or once air it, doing it with smile? No consequences, no remorse, just acting like it was normal? WTH? This just isn't funny. In fact, it is jwrong on so many levels, that I was actually baffled when I saw the audience cheering at the very same scene which made me swearing for minutes. Or was that readtion "edited" too?...

Best bit was Hammond in Dubai driving various off-roaders.

Worst... Well you have a selection. Is it Conversation Street? The two unknowns they interview? Or Clarkson trying to pretend he can drive a Subaru?

If you own or have have owned a Subaru don't watch as he kills off an STi. And pretends that he's not using the highly talented Mark Higgins to actually do the stunts.

Disappointing

This episode was by far the worst grand tour episode to date. I was loving the grand tour until this episode but I disliked this episode that much that I am wondering if this is the point when the franchise jumped the shark? The farm rally sketch was the most cringeworthy feature I can ever recall seeing either on this or top gear. Totally unfunny and Clarkson came across as an arrogant tw@t. I am hoping episode 6 is better or I'm done with the grand tour.
