I have heard of this show as the star shows up on Varney & Co that I watch every day and finally decided to watch it. What a GREAT GREAT show!! I guess having been out of the bar scene for 40 + years I did not know how sleazy people can dress. Just a GREAT show all over, I highly recommend the show!

gives you a definite awareness of things to look for when hitting bars on your own, understand why things are on a menu, spot staff with(out) discipline and generally makes you from having viewed this, a more educated patron. It also drives home a solid point that many seem to miss, don't think owning a bar/grill is a fun thing to do, its not. Its hard work and your 2nd religion had better be cleaning.

Fun to watch

I love the show and have seen the whole season 1 before. I ended up not watching it again through this purchase because amazon was having a problem that day. Therefore it didn't download. Amazon refunded me my money but it still showed up on my review list. Watching this on regular TV I enjoyed the season. So if your thinking about the purchase, I do recommend the season. It's a good show to watch. I loved about the 4th show because the bar was a place from my home town. I've sat in the seats the program showed. You never know where they're going to end up as they go all over the United States. It makes it much more fun when you get to see one from your home town. This was the first year the show was produced. I'm not quite sure him many years it's been on but I still watch to this day. I believe every Sunday the show is run back to back for hours. Great show.

Warning: Spoilers
Macc Dundee leads the way of the underground hip hop and r and b scene in the northwest. Taking a few trips to Sxsw, in Austin Texas. scouting talent from all walks of life. throughout the first six episodes you see a lot of change within the characters

One thing they are real, their lives are real the things that happen to them are real. we see icizzle the cameraman talk about different filming techniques and working with different artists.

J-Shep takes us on many different stages from the Tacoma dome to the summer jam stage. all while performing a list of new hits.

we see and smell Chef D cooking his famous black gold chicken at the summer jam campgrounds as things take a turn for the worse.

Better than 90% of reality shows

I dislike "reality" shows because we (hopefully) all know by now its not live, nor real, the situations are scripted just like anything else that's syndicated. One has the "tough, obnoxious, but fair" lead, and his assistants. Each episode has the same formula, J-Shep performs on a stage, icizzle films it, Macc Dundee and crew party. Sounds pretty dull right?

That's what set this apart for me, it wasn't dull at all. Predictable and contrived it might be, the bars they go into are real bars, and they are fun. That part is the reality part, and what this show does very well. It gives you a definite awareness of things to look for when hitting bars on your own, understand why things are on a menu, spot staff with(out) discipline and generally makes you from having viewed this, a more educated patron. It also drives home a solid point that many seem to miss, don't think owning a bar/grill is a fun thing to do, its not. Its hard work and your 2nd religion had better be cleaning.

Dramatic Series

Awesome show! It's about young people (young black adults specifically) striving diligently to become something positive in life. Singing is a very decent way to make a living and soothes your mind as you use it to express your feelings of the things you go through in everyday life.

I hope Macc Dundee was not being sexist when he chose the members for Dundeal Entertainment at the end of the first season. 4 guys and 2 women is alright for the label, though some of the girls in the first season were pretty talented.

Will their voices be just as effective now as they will be 10 or more years down the road?

Best series

I've seen some reality shows and this one is such a unique experience. Something you don't see everyday in the over crowded world of TV.
