One of the Best Homeland Episodes in quite some time

Blown away is the phrase I'd use. After the slow start in the season it was about time we we're given something back. Without sounding clichéd, and despite Homelands usual plot hole or three, this was as gripping stuff as we've seen on the show for some time. Creepy, Hitchcock-esque and I honestly have no idea what will happen next. Return to form. 9/10

Very Good Episode

Warning: Spoilers
I loved the scenes at the mysterious private corps that Ray Conlin went to investigate. It was even mildly amusing, which Homeland has had at times in past seasons, but that was so far missing from this season. But dang, just when I was really starting to like the alliance between Carrie and Conlin, they killed him off!

Is it realistic that Carrie just goes home and that they'll install the security system in the morning not immediately? NO, I didn't find either thing realistic. The stuff with Quinn at the psycho hospital is so bleak. I hope they don't drag that out too long.

Been there, done that

Carrie's life is in danger... didn't they already do that? Yes, they did and yet here we go again. What else? Poor Queen is detained and paranoid- check. Dar and Saul are trying to outsmart each other- check. Someone with vital information decides not to reveal it on the phone, only to be killed before he can pass it on - check, and that is such a cliche in thrillers, it has been done only a billion times.

The only novelty is Madam President-elected, played by an actress with a perennial smirk and quite arrogant enough to be credible in her unsympathetic role. But when a US President is taking advice from the likes of Carrie, you know the situation is FUBAR.

PS and if by now you still don't understand what's going on.... this is the most predictable plot ever... definitely loosing steam and running out of ideas.
