The Sleeping Beauty is not a beauty at all. The makeups are very unprofessional, Maleficent's contact lenses are looking in the opposite direction, but she has beautiful lashes, what Aurora should rather need. The story is stupid, tries to evoke Avatar and other famous scenes, but unsuccessfully and unnecessary. I would not recommend it for children, because it's more than a war movie (with frightening creatures) than a tale, but I would not recommend it for adults either, because the characters are so dumb. Disappointingly bad movie, I accepted more from a Disney movie.

Not a great add-on by any means

"Malificent Revealed" or "Maleficent Revealed" is a 5-minute short film from 2014 and this little (I guess we can call it a) documentary runs for five minutes only. It is of course a little addition for the Maleficent DVD, but there is really almost nothing to it. No narration or interviews set the informative component to zero. It is just some okay moments from the film basically and we see the special effects behind it. That's all there is, for 5 minutes bearable and without spoilers and we see Maleficent as a child and grown-up (played by Jolie), find out a tiny bit about her hostility. All in all, it is nothing though that gets me interested at all in watching the blockbuster movie in the near future. This little snippet here gets a thumbs-down from me and I guess you really need to love the movie to see anything in these slightly under 5 minutes. I suggest you skip them too.
