INICUO: THE BROTHERHOOD is a very low budget indie thriller from Mexico. The story is about a wannabe religious cult whose weirdo lead decides on a kidnapping in order to further his ambitions. It's a low key and small scale production with very little in the way of interest; the psychological approach to the narrative is an obvious one but the writing simply isn't interesting enough to make it work. Mostly this is just boring cult stuff that has been done better elsewhere; for example, check out season two of THE FOLLOWING.
