I like this episode. It was very good. It could have been. The problem? Sylvester. He is annoying to no end. Also, here is the huge problem for me. Megan is on high doses of pain meds. How is it legally possible to marry someone who does not full use her mental facilities? Also, how can he get a power of attorney that quickly to take over Megan's care? Never liked him.

Love the non-violence

Warning: Spoilers
I love the way Team Scorpion deal with this using a toy car to start an explosion and a bomb made from salami shavings. I must admit that Gleeson's cockney voice is a bit annoying, slightly stereotypical.
Sylvester and Megan are lovely and also heart breaking. So sweet and so brave. I love how accepting Walter is and how he accepts what's happening.
The double-cross is clever, maybe even 'genius'. So many points to it and I love the recap and filling in the gaps.

Terrible accents

Warning: Spoilers
As soon as I saw the title I knew it would be filled with terrible 'british' accents (remember, apparently there is only Oliver Twist's Fagin or the Queen when it comes to the writing of british characters in US tv shows).
They cast an Australian to do a woeful posh and cockney affectation and got an already posh-sounding actor to put her own accent in to overdrive to the point where, despite being english myself, I really thought she couldn't possibly be. This must have been particularly painful for English actor Elyes Gabel who nails his character's accent as per usual.
This series can be entertaining, but it can also be extremely racist and inward-looking in it's attitude to character writing for characters from South and Central America, Africa and Eastern Europe in particular, which is both sad and also lazy. Scorpion is often fun but I couldn't watch more than the first ten minutes of this one.
