Harper kept running around Chicago with a gun, pretending to be a CPD detective with Finnegan and trying to pass herself off as an active DEA agent when Finnegan's car is found, and now, suddenly, she's back in the office interrogating suspects after going with her boss on a raid, when she hasn't even met the IA board yet.
This kind of thing makes the writers look like teenagers making up stories. A suspended agent would be fired for cause if she came into the office while on suspension, let alone going on a raid, armed and with no credentials. Then at her trial board, the IA didn't even ask her about giving the voice recording to the media, which is what she was suspended for in the first place.
She's really a bad agent, getting two snitches killed in a row. The first one was a kid that she was leaning on and revealing him as a snitch in front of his fellow gang members, so that was her negligence that got him killed. It's infuriating how she throws her weight around, threatening people with asset seizures and business closures.
How are viewers supposed to see federal agents like her as heroes? That character is a snake, and obviously a sociopath. She's no hero, just another criminal, as bad as the people she's chasing.
