It is impossible to see everything that's on these days. We all miss great stuff, because there's just so much time to watch. So we all miss great shows.
Don't miss this one. Season One was a marvel, combining the story of two brothers, one autistic, and how they depend on one another, with the relentless, headlong rush of the best thrillers.
Season Two starts a new story for the pair, and it's just as much a treat as Season One. The writing is spare and direct, the action constant, the plot taking directions you don't see coming, and all at a pace that leaves you panting. Ashley Zukerman wears the character of autistic brother Jesse like a diving suit. This is an actor's actor, and it's a gas to see someone so totally focused and true in a role that would have felled lesser players. Dan Spielman as brother Ned stands out as well, no mean feat when sharing the screen with Zukerman. We become seriously invested in their characters outside of the story.
You can't look away from this show. It will reward you richly for that.
