Big, Simpsons style.

Homer is hypnotized into believing that he's ten years old, he forms a close bond with Bart, the pair share several laughs.

This was a cracking episode, one I thoroughly enjoyed, I love the Homer Vs Bart episodes, here we get to enjoy the pair United as never before.

This made me chuckle, and actually made me smile, it's been a somewhat up and down series so far, some episodes patchy, some very good, this was a truly enjoyable, fun episode.

Absolutely loved the X Men spoof ending at the end, that was funny as.

Loved it, 8/10.

Judd Apatow's Writing Style is Visible Throughout,

Bart's New Friend is a fantastic Simpsons episode with a very well written storyline and loads of very funny scenes. It was certainly a fun story that I was happy to see the show tackle, seeing Homer become a friend of Barts and behaving just like him was very fun to me. It is written by Judd Apatow, and despite being from a script that he made long before his huge success with movies such as 40 Year Old Virgin and Knocked Up, his style of writing can be seen in some shape and form throughout, whether it be some noticeably lengthy dialogue between characters, or simply the way the plot comes together, if your a fan of Apatow you will know he made this. I heard that Apatow has hopes that he could return in the future to write more future episodes, and if this is any indication, that would be a great idea. Funny and even a little heartwarming, Bart's New Friend is a very enjoyable Simpsons episode.

Bart makes an unlikely friend with Homer after he is hypnotized in to thinking he's 10 years old.
