Sex & Nudity

Violence & Gore

  • The movie centers around car chases more than gun violence. It is not very violent, only near the end but even so it's not too bad.
  • Infrequent gunshots to the head. Blood spurts out.
  • During the five minute action sequence, a man crashes his car several times this is in the beginning of the movie no gore similiar to the doctor strange car crash scene
  • A man goes against three people with a shotgun. No blood, then shoots another man multiple times and we see some blood spraying on the ground from a distance.
  • Mild blood in the car crash scene but no gore.
  • There's little to no violence in the first half, beside dead bodies. The second half has a scene or two featuring blood and gore, multiple people being shot dead, explosions, and corpses. Specifics include a brief shot of a man being impaled, another man being shot multiple times in a shootout, and multiple police murders.
  • Frenetic and extended violence throughout the film. However, the camera never lingers therefore a lot of the scenes are not very gory, however it's still R rated material nonetheless.
  • A character opens up his car trunk to reveal a dead body. A bloody bullet wound is on his chest. It is then implied that the corpse gets crushed up along with the car by a trash compactor.
  • A very violent car crash is shown in a flashback sequence. No blood but graphic sound effect.

Profanity

  • 68 uses of "fuck", most of these are near the end of the movie.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • During a conversation it is implied that most of the criminals do drugs.
  • Baby robs a car that two men are seen smoking weed in, this is extremely brief.
  • No onscreen drug use, but two references to "nasal problems" (cocaine habits).

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Baby continuously flashes back to a car crash involving his loved ones and is visibly distressed by it multiple times.

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Violence & Gore

  • A man is shot in the leg with blood spurts. This causes him to trip and fall off a ledge onto a car that is on fire. The car then explodes with along with the body.
  • Doc fights off multiple men, shooting and killing them, he also gets shot twice in the process. Buddy then appears, runs over Doc, sending him flying into a light, electrocuting him, then reversing onto his body shortly after, his hand being shown run over in close up. Very brutal and graphic.
  • A man drives forwards very fast and a man in the passenger seat gets impaled by a stack of rebars. The impaling itself is out of focus. This is by far the most graphic scene in the movie. There is a bit of blood spurting on the window, windshield, and the rest of the characters have blood on them for the rest of the movie.
  • A man fires a gun next to both of a mans ears. This causes him to be in a great deal of pain.

  • During the ending 30 minutes, a couple police officers get shot with blood spurts and a man gets shot in the shoulder with blood shooting out. There is blood on the ground, and he shoots a police officer twice. His death is offscreen.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Many of the main characters die in the film.
  • Buddy becomes very violent towards the end of the movie after Darling is killed.
