Greg Davies is the infantile schoolteacher Dan who in the first episode has lost his trousers and his girlfriend.
He needs to rush to school and also see his friend, a financial adviser about getting a mortgage, not before getting involve in a scuffle with his father (Rik Mayall) who is dressed as a bear. It seems like a father and son bonding session.
We also get to see Dan's grown up daughter who has managed to get a job with the financial adviser. She actually makes her dad look responsible and wise.
The episode ends with Dan getting beaten up in a gentleman's tailor shop for being a nonce as he is caught wearing woman's underwear. I am glad it was mentioned this item of clothing was ladies underwear because it just looked like underwear to me in a rather fetching red colour.
The first episode tried to hard to be frenetic and wacky. Davies channels a young Rik Mayall with his facial expressions but we have the real thing here already.
