Classic love video parody a throwback to old Hollywood.

1991's "Rush, Rush" was such a classic hit from Paula one of my favorites, and the video received huge airplay on both "MTV" and "VH1" in the summer it was the hot viewing treat more popular than ice creme! The video is well shot and done telling a story it's like a throwback and parody to old classic Hollywood, it's feel and view is like that of the 1950's. It features Abdul and actor Keanu Reeves who are dealing with love and life as it proves it's a daily struggle yet in the end passion and romance will prevail as love and a rush rush destiny was meant for both! Overall great video a highly memorable early 90's classic.

Beats out all the others in the 90s in my opinion. Paula is STUNNING in this.

People who hate pop music today must admit there was also some pretty bad stuff in the 1990s

Warning: Spoilers
"Paula Abdul: Rush Rush" is a pretty solid description for this title as here we have the 5-minute music video for the Paula Abdul song "Rush Rush" from 1991, so this one had its 25th anniversary last year already. Abdul plays the female protagonist and the male protagonist is played by Keanu Reeves, both still in their 20s at that point. I see that this film references "Rebel Without a Cause", but honestly, neither the approach nor the outcome really impressed me at all. And the song is as weak and forgettable bubble gum pop music as it could be. The director is Stefan Würnitzer and looking at his body of work, this one here may very well be his most known work still today, a quarter of a century later. So yeah I thought this was extremely forgettable, both the visual and audible side. You must truly be a huge huge Paula Abdul fan to see any appeal in here as I would say 2 stars out of 5 is still on the generous side. Not recommended.
