Joke after joke after joke, especially throughout the first two challenges. Sue Perkins has quite a talent as a comedian. Normally, when I watch a movie or an episode of a series, I keep a pen and paper handy for jotting down quotes that I would like to submit to IMDb. During this episode of "The Great British Bake Off" (GBBO), I compiled quite a lengthy list.
I've never previously watched GBBO. Compared to MasterChef U.S., the English vocabulary spoken by everyone during this episode is high caliber and pleasant to hear.
My only complaint: When the show uses cut scenes to display each contestant's finished product, spinning on a stand, the videos are too short. Viewers need more time to examine each finished product, to analyze its components and register mental notes.
