This was another great episode focused on Sara Lance mostly.
The flashbacks showed what happened to Sara after the Gambit sunk down, and how she ended up on the ship where Oliver is currently in.
The reason why Sara decided to return to Starling City is revealed, and it made a lot of sense, even though she ended up escaping the League of Assassins, which they did not appreciate. When they come to take her back and threaten her, she realizes the danger they are put in and in the end, decides to meet her father, Quentin. I loved the acting in those scenes and how smart Quentin was to piece together that she is the Canary. It was sad to see them say goodbye.
While it looks like Sara is gone for a while in the present day, looks like she will have a more prominent presence in the flashback storyline.
On a side note, I like that Oliver is opening up to Dig more about what happened during the 5 years he was away. It shows real growth on his part which is nice to see.
