- A woman and a teenage boy sit on a bed fully clothed. She kisses him intimately on the lips and she goes to open his shirt before they are interrupted.
- Three boys flip through a pornographic magazine. A picture of a woman is shown, with lower body nudity clearly visible for a brief period of time.
- There is also a scene of implied masturbation where a boy can be seen moving his hand around his crotch area while looking at a picture of a woman. No nudity is shown throughout this sequence.

- There are scenes with gang beating, denigration, use of excesive violence from the guardians. There are intense and very real scenes. I consider several scenes are really violent and raw.
- A boy hits an older man over the head with a shovel, knocking him down and injuring his head. Blood is shown, and later the man is seen wearing a bloody bandage under an eye patch.
- One shot lingers on the back of a boy as he hangs from ropes. You can see the skin under the ropes is raw and bleeding, and it is visually implied he has been brutally beaten and tortured.

- The dead body of a boy is seen after having hanged himself from a bedframe. The noose has been cut but still hangs around his neck.
