I didn't know RAYE the girl from South London, the Heritage Orchestra or the arranger and conductor Tom Richards. Within ten minutes I was staring and listening in disbelief. I didn't know The Telegraph had described her as the most talented artist since Adele and Amy Winehouse.

The opening number was a complete blast with this new star soaring immediately with a top gear on par with Streisand and Dion. The album My 21st Century Blues with a 65 piece orchestra and 30 piece gospel choir, simply roared at the Albert Hall. Songs like Body Dysmorphia and Ice Cream are amazing. The encore with fantastic lighting and the house organ was volcanic. I am sure you will all probably shout at me for 'I didn't know' but this was the best first experience I've had in 40 years ! It seemed like somebody had sent Amy back to us with the strength we wished she had.
