Cy tries, God bless him, to talk sense to the PotUS, but he's so lovestruck for Olivia, Mellie's insistence on telling the world of her husband's infidelity falls on deaf ears. Fitz is willing to sacrifice potentially the presidency for Liv. Meanwhile, Pope's crew study and research Charlie, Huck's former colleague-in-kill. He has ulterior motives involving getting dirt on Defiance, the secret vote fraud that won Fitz the presidency. Cy does everything he can to keep Mellie from going to the press on Fitz, but it was all for naught. Meanwhile, Cy's own "spouse" lands a big news reporter job and, as you might expect in this show, lands the big interview with Mellie where the infidelity is unveiled to the media. While this happens Liv and Fitz sex it up something fierce in her apartment! What a crazy show this Scandal can be! Also included is Jake's ongoing drama within the life of Olivia, as he starts to realize her involvement with Fitz as he is assigned as her protector. Charlie's discovered as the one who hit Huck and put him in the box inside the storage facility. Jake also sees that Charlie was inside Liv's apartment on several occasions.
