Jumpin. The. Shark.

Warning: Spoilers
The "A" storyline was all over the place. Wow, was it all over the place. Absolutely no credibility. None. Queen Latifah is much, much better than this. Horrible, horrible acting from the bad meanie woman (Michelle?) in the last scenes and every indication of sanity shows this episode HAS to be a dream because no episode has been this poorly written and made such little sense in the history of the series.

Now, the "B" storyline was excellent. Aunt Vi and Dee were well written, well acted, and that whole scenario was believable and portrayed unbelievably well. Hats off to Lorraine Touissaint and Laya DeLeon Hayes.

The whole cliffhanger thing at the end was just idiotic. I feel like it was written after the writer's strike started and they just grabbed some folks off the street to write an episode.

Poor season finale

Warning: Spoilers
I really love the equaliser and make sure to watch it each week, but this season finale was a travesty. Poor plot with so many holes. Robin says she believed Michelle had died because the last was so big. Michelle doesn't believe her, but then describes the blast as being so big, it could've killed her as well. I've seen Ilfenesh Hadara in Blue Bloods and Billions and other shows and she has been brilliant, but the lines she had to speak in this sounds like they had been written by intern. That would explain why her delivered was so wooden and unbelievable. It was painful to even watch it.

The final scene where Harry, Mel and Dante's lives are threatened is also unbelievable considering there's already a fourth series booked. You're not going to kill of three of the four main characters in one blow with another series about to be filmed.

This was like a rejected script that was thrown on the floor and picked up by mistake and put in the approved folder by mistake.

Worse episode in 3 seasons

Warning: Spoilers
What did I just watch. 2.5 lame storyline's in 42 minutes.

The final of season 3 is one of the worst episodes I've ever seen. Garbage dialogue. People killed for zero reason. A new drug guy we have never seen.

The Aunty buying popcorn and now a professional councillor.

The daughter an expert martial arts hero.

No ending and let's pretend to kill every main character off that's in this show.

Utter rubbish. Surely the real writers didn't have anything to do with this rubbish.

I've been a member of this site for about 15 yrs. This would be my 3 review.

Why?

Because people shouldn't have to watch this rubbish.

People should be sacked for writing this garbage.

Don't watch until Season 4 is released
email-0519912 September 2023
This was by far the worst episode of the season. (And this season had its share of disappointing episodes).

"Eye for an Eye" was predictably a cliff-hanger. The plot was also extremely implausible. More so than usual. (But usually it doesn't matter because, well, it's now a fluffy teen show. And that's OK - because it has nice endings).

If you appreciate those usual nice extended happy ending wrap-ups, this episode is definitely not worth watching. At all. It would be better to just watch the recap at the beginning of Season 4. Watching this episode will make you not want to watch Season 4.

People watch this show because of the feel good endings. The writers forgot that when they made this episode.

Really bad finale
Tellyvixen26 November 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I never like the CIA part of The Equalizer and this episode showcases why. Over the top, a lot of senseless fighting with a very basic plot to it (this episode didn't even have that). So many things did not gel at all. And it finishes with the near death of 3 out 4 of the main cast members with 4th close behind. Maybe the writers just like to have fun with the CIA episodes but they never any good. There has been too many shows that follow the same type of CIA theme to it. Like another reviewer said the public shouldn't be expected to watch such a bad story. Meanwhile Vi and Delilah are now hostage negotiators. Very poor ending to the season.
