A fresh interpretation of a classic human experience.

Warning: Spoilers
The Blind Artist is a journey into the hearts of two beautiful people and communicates with the eloquence of poetry. Josh Carpenter and Olivia Stem allow us to experience the birth of a relationship with them. Their journey contains very little dialogue, but none is needed. They communicate with body language and other human subtleties which remind the audience exactly how we "see" each other. Justin Parish and Candace Black bring us a fresh vision of a classic human experience, told beautifully and shot magnificently. The score is beautiful and brings your heart into the very depth of the story's controlling idea. This is an experience every movie goer should watch. Well done!

An artist draws what he sees with his heart.

Beautiful story by R.J. Parish and Candace Black. It was enjoyable being on set with these folks and the end product is a work of love. Eli is blind sees with his heart and uses his art to show others his visions. In a world where many will just walk by Rosey takes time to stop. Rosey is beautiful inside and out and together they both see a better place. The set is lovely. The acting enjoyable. The story is uplifting. The crew did a great job. The final film is worth watching. The film is only seven min. long so make the time. Josh Carpenter and Olivia Stem are cute together and give a great performance. The soundtrack is also enjoyable. This was filmed in Dallas, Texas but the set has an international look.

Fantastic film: A blind street artist (Josh Carpenter) impresses a young lady!

A street artist (Actor Josh Carpenter)tries to impress a young lady by drawing her portrait, but he has one problem: he's blind. Although this is about a 7 minute movie short, it is so powerful, emotional and an ending so emotional, I shed some tears! Josh Carpenter's performance was so compelling, it made me literally cry! Josh is so talented, I love his work . I wonder to myself if he knows just how great of an Actor he is. Josh was truly amazing as the blind artist. I need tissues - got me shedding a few tears with this performance. I believe this is a 7 minute short movie, but the emotions and superb acting made this short seem a bit longer as it gripped at all my emotions. Kudos to all who made this film possible.
