The second half of this offering runs to a logical conclusion, but it needs to bring in a seer who is able to give clues to the solving of the case. We also have our heroine getting in the way, confronting the wrong people and screwing up a police case. Wagner must be really jumpy when she shows up because she puts more stuff on his shoulders to deal with. The conclusion is quite believable but also predictable. Just a run of the mill police drama.

These comments refer to the entire two part story not just episode two.
As this episode opens Dicte is sitting by the riverside with a friend when she seem a bucket floating past; she pulls it out and finds that it contains a recently deceased baby. Its appearance and an Arabic note makes Dicte and the police assume the baby's parents must be Muslim. Policeman Wagner is not pleased when Dicte prints this detail as the Muslim community ask for the body as it needs to be buried within twenty four hours. She then causes more trouble as she tries to find the mother by watching the cemetery then confronting a woman who it turns out was visiting the grave of her brother who had recently committed suicide. While this is going on Dicte's friend Ida Marie goes into hospital and gives birth to a son. Shortly afterwards the baby is stolen; Dicte is convinced that the cases are linked as she believes the person most likely to take a baby is somebody who has just lost one.
This is the third story in the series and the third where Dicte has found a body a little unlikely to say the least but not something that should spoil ones enjoyment. Given that the story involves the death of one baby and the kidnapping of another it is possible that some viewers will be disturbed if you aren't it is an enjoyable story. Not surprisingly this is a fairly emotional episode; Lene Maria Christensen does a fine job portraying Ida Marie as she first experiences the joy of seeing her new son then the anguish when he disappears. As well as the central mysteries Dicte must decide what to do when she finds evidence that suggests Ida Marie's husband has been unfaithful as well as dealing with the prospect of her own ex moving to Aarhus. The story progresses well leading to a tense conclusion. Overall another impressive story.
