I normally like the equalizer, and this.was a good episode. There was plot, reasons for empathy, some twists, some adventure, some cleverness. There was reason for tension on the team. There was collaboration between the police force and the vigilantes. However, there was one part that ruined it. Mel went 'undercover', and she said "I'm the muscle" and acted offended when the police officer was a bit skeptical. She initially proved herself, but then in the middle of the job she got beaten up by the "hacker" of the bad guys. It was totally ridiculous. It was like she got beaten up again, and again, and again. You can't say "I'm the muscle" and take out a special forces type guy by hand and then get beaten up repeatedly by the "hacker". Well, I suppose it could be that the hacker was some kind of really good fighter, but it was not portrayed that way.
