This is easy one of the better episodes in the Beck series in well over a decade. High pulse and thrilling all the way through. In parts you get vibes from the classic "The Fugitive".
The chilling performance of Jonas Karlsson in the role of Klas Fredén and Martin Wallström performance of Josef under immense pressure are lifting the story and making great efforts assisted by a nice script.
The episode runs pretty much as an isolated story in the foreground and there is not much time for the usual parallell side-stories circling the individuals in the investigation team. This is perhaps not an ordinary episode in the Beck series but it works very well.
