The difficulties of dealing with cars in the traffic
Rodrigo_Amaro21 January 2023
An accident of sorts got me to this one, a short film that deals about the evolution of cars and vehicles and how they affect our daily lives with an overcrowded population and a huge lack of drivers who actually follow traffic procedures, laws and regulations. Highly didatic and hardly ever critical of what it constantly complaints as the presentation progress, the main thing where the movie seem to address us in the audience and provide us some reflection as to we are about to see is the initial disclaimers where it positively says about trusting mankind and men in order to achieve a greater and better sense of evolution. It's not exactly the notion of "stop buying cars, use public transportation and all", it's more of an idea of "respect yourself and others while being part of the traffic". But then the images come along and there are countless moments where drivers disrespect the traffic lane, run their cars on the sidewalk and at other times accidents are captured in a bloody way - word of warning since they're not real, it was all staged but for a moment it does feel like the filmmakers caught a nasty accident during shooting. Anyway, this special is one of those reports dedicated for the cause of education so if you wanna understand how did we got here in this crazed scenario of major cities whose traffic are a violent mess, with a narrative that takes us back to the cavemen, this is a nice short film to be seen.

And that's that and nothing more, pretty good. 6/10.
