Making the Grade
wes-connors19 October 2013
When a high school English literature teacher takes maternity leave, substitute Josie Davis (as Molly Matson) arrives to fill out the year. She also fills out some tight skirts and blouses. Possibly psycho, due to weird flashbacks from an ugly childhood, Ms. Davis shows ample cleavage and a lot of leg. This teacher is so obviously looking for sex; we wonder why the administration didn't observe her more closely. There are dozens of older looking "teenagers" who notice Davis peddling her services. She watches handsome baseball star Cameron Deane Stewart (as Danny Campbell) at practice, and decides he is to be her seduction...

This is the same plot as several TV movies, which seem to be recycled with one or two changes in character and setting. "Dirty Teacher" could have been improved by leaving off the "tease" opening, since it hints at an event which could (or should) be more uncertain. Also, Mr. Stewart is the conflicted protagonist instead of the one you're expecting, college-focused girlfriend Kelcie Stranahan (as Jamie Hall). The story doesn't make much of this, but it makes the movie's structure more interesting. The story sticks to formula and all the players, including director Doug Campbell and his crew, essay their roles well.

***** Dirty Teacher (3/30/13) Doug Campbell ~ Josie Davis, Kelcie Stranahan, Cameron Deane Stewart, Darlene Vogel

I actually enjoyed this movie.
cobrafa29 July 2014
Warning: Spoilers
I was watching TV. late at night last week with my wife. Not much on. Came across this one. At first it looked like a stupid "after school special" that they used to put on. Then my wife and I actually got into it at stayed up until at least 02:30 in the morning watching it. Of course it was very predictable, but at the same time the movie was very enjoyable. My wife and I just love these kind of movies that take place in a school type setting. They bring us back in time to when we were both in school. Some of the actors could not act at all. The police investigating the murders seemed to not even care that someone was murdered. Josie Davis from Charles in Charge was in this as the "Dirty Teacher". Overall not a bad movie to watch if there is nothing else on TV.

Unoriginal Pablum

From the first moment new teacher Ms. Matson (Josie Davis) sees Danny (Cameron Deane Stewart) on the baseball diamond, she knows what she wants. And so do we.

Ms. Matson is a hard bodied TILF, packed into tight outfits. She also will not be denied. She sets out on a scorched-earth campaign to bring Danny under her spell, leaving damage in her wake.

Danny's girlfriend is Jamie (Kellie Stranahan), a good student with a bright future. She and Danny are in Ms. Matson's literature class, allowing her to use her influence as a teacher to lure Danny and sidetrack Jamie.

The entire story is predictable. Ms. Matson is creepy. Many scenes feel sterile. The classroom scenes are clichéd. All of the students are attractive. The players on the high school baseball team can't throw a ball.

This television movie is guilty of being uninteresting.

Bad Even For Lifetime
Zebb6711 June 2016
Yes, even by the low standards of Lifetime's formulaic, crime dramas, this one is bad. Horrible Fatal Attraction rip-off (and there have been many of those) with no surprises, high school drama club-level acting and a terrible script. Don't let the title fool you--this is tame, TV-14 (I would have rated it PG) level stuff. In fact, it plays like one of those old, Afterschool Movies (don't have sex with your teacher, kids!) with just a bit of racy/violent stuff thrown in. Lifetime has made a few, somewhat-decent time-killers, but this is not one of them. I should have checked the IMDb rating before watching this crud, but it was on Amazon Prime (home of a lot of terrible movies), so I thought "why not." I owe the move one thing along those lines, though: after watching it, I decided not to subscribe to AP after my free trial ends, so Dirty Teacher ended up saving me $10.99 a month.

Come On Hands Up Who Watched It Because Of The Title ?
Theo Robertson21 June 2013
As I said earlier in one of my reviews today the lead headline in Britain today is a sleazy tale of a male teacher who eloped to France with his 15 year old girlfriend from class . After seeing the title I thought that's a very quick biopic , some of these film companies must have a superhuman ability to make a movie . As it turned out this wasn't a true life drama about a teacher abusing their trust in the worst way possible because if DIRTY TEACHER is a true life story I'd be applying to go back to school in America

Of course if this was role reversal where the teacher was male and the pupil was female it'd be an entirely different film . I'm also guessing there's a problem with the casting . Imagine if the producer cast some grotesque goblin as Ms Molly Matson ? Again it'd be an entirely different film as Ms Matson tries to seduce Danny . If teenage boy were to be entirely honest they'd say that they probably find a Gorgon sexually attractive . As it stands Ms Matson is played by Josie Davis who is stunningly attractive , so much so that if Ms Matson offered a teenage boy sex he'd happily start without her . Perhaps mindful of this the story concerns itself with Danny's girlfriend Jamie being the victim of Ms Matson's twisted desire . It is after all a TVM produced for a female audience and a male audience who watch it will think back to their schooldays and lament that life isn't fair

dirty teacher not so dirty
alysamulonee31 January 2016
Warning: Spoilers
the title makes you think that it is going to be something that it is not. the teacher falls for a popular kid in her class, and they end up getting involved, but she ends up flipping out and running him over killing him. she then pays a guy off to fix her grill, and wipes the blood on the girlfriends fender. the girlfriend is a plain Jane, but the teacher in my opinion is anything but stunning herself. i think they could of found a more attractive women to swoop this guy off his feet. and the teachers crazy little out bursts were ridiculous.principal thought she was doing wonderful, were they blind? no clue how they came up with that thought. the whole movie was very slow and predictable, would never watch it again.

HE WHOM LOVE TOUCHES NOT WALKS IN DARKNESS
nogodnomasters3 August 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Jamie Hall's ( Kelcie Stranahan) world is coming to an end. Her boyfriend Danny (Cameron Deane Stewart) wants sex, but she is not ready. Her parents live in an upscale community, but she doesn't have a cell phone because dad got laid off.

Mom (Darlene Vogel) works two jobs and they had to rob Jamie's college fund to keep up the house payments. Danny's dad (Brett Stimely) was the one who laid off her dad (Marc Raducci). To top it all off, the new psycho teacher (Josie Davis) has the hots for her boyfriend, and is giving Jamie failing grades who now needs a scholarship.

The film was boring. Josie Davis who reminds me of Linda Carter was the highlight of the film. You know where the film is going. The expected dramatic and action scenes are watered down.

The flashbacks were pretty much a joke as it gave you a brief picture, but no story that made sense.

This reminded me of a bad Lifetime film with adult language. Not worth a Redbox rental.

Parental Guide: F-bomb. Brief sex. No nudity.

Josie Davis
geoffox-766-4184677 November 2015
Is the winner in this silly movie about teacher seducing a student. Josie Davis being the teacher, you can't blame the student. She is looking good in tight skirts and blouses and those batting eyes. The opposite is the student's girlfriend who is a plain Jane in looks and character. She seems to be in another world. So, it's not a surprise that the male student wanted something more attractive and exciting. The rest of the cast, including the student, fail to live up to Ms Davis' performance.

I rate this movie only for the presence of Josie Davis. Not the script, acting, directing. I give it a 6 for Josie.

Cougar on the campus
bkoganbing3 December 2017
Although these stories keep popping up every so often those popups give Dirty Teacher what credibility it has sadly enough. But this one was really off the wall.

I mean don't they give psychological tests to those wanting to go into this career?

Josie Davis is our cougar on the campus. She's a substitute teacher who dresses most provocatively and sets her cap for star baseball player and underachiever Cameron Deane Stewart. At the same time out of jealousy or sheer pique she downgrades his girlfriend Kelcie Stranahan. When she discovers that Davis has seduced her fellow the fur starts flying and the blood gets spilled.

Dirty Teacher is a gem from the Lifetime Channel. It would be them that inflicted it on the world.

looks like I won't be skipping class anymore

Warning: Spoilers
***SPOILERS*** As soon as the high schools new English teacher Molly Matson, Josie Davis, laid her eyes on the hunky school's star 3rd baseman Danny Campbell, Cameron Deane Stewart, fielding and scooping up ground balls for the schools champion baseball team the Wildcats it was lust at first sight. Getting to work on Danny in getting him to have him shack up with her Molly needs to get rid of her biggest rival for Danny's love & affection his girlfriend Jamie Hall, Kelcie Stranahan, the top straight triple A student in her English class. It's not that hard for Molly who has the hottest body, student or teacher, in the school to get the sexual hormone raging Danny to fall head over heels for her. But as things soon turn out Jamie's woman intuition soon realizes that the helpless, in staying away from Molly, and star eyed Danny is cheating on her and threatens to expose his union with his teacher! That can ends up having him thrown out of school and Molly not only lose her job but be indited for statutory rape!

Catching both Danny & Molly in the act Jamie gives him an ultimatum to either leave Molly or she'll expose his relationship with her to the dean that would end up putting both of them in the sh*t house. It's then that Molly starts putting the squeeze on Jamie giving her failing grades that will keep her from going to collage. This tawdry love triangle escalates when Molly driven by both lust & revenge sets up a meeting with Danny, who by now reluctantly dropped her, in a local park to talk things over. It's there with Danny telling her it's all over that she runs him down with her car and later frames the totally innocent Jamie for his hit & run death!

***SPOILERS**** Now facing time behind bars not a collage education Jamie despite being under house arrest goes and confronts Molly and in a wild cat fight between the two has the local police, who had a tail on Jamie, come on the scene as Molly, not knowing she's being monitored, spilling the beans about her killing Danny Stewart for leaving her. All this just show how a hot and hunky young man like Danny can drive women completely nuts and wet their panties just by winking at them. It by now was too late for Danny-in him being dead-to have anything to do with women or the weaker sex that in fact ended up killing him. But as for the very much alive and now behind bars Molly she's still a danger to any man she still comes in contact with. Even those cute and cuddly sex starved male security officers, working 12 to 15 hours a day, who are now guarding her in womens prison.

The PG-13 Teacher
dance_orluck21 February 2021
Honestly I enjoy these type of "thriller" movies. Most of them tend to be super cliché, and I want to give this one a try. Overall I enjoyed the storyline, however I feel like they could've spice things up even more than they did. Several of the scenarios that occur in the movie are highly unlikely to happen that way in real life. Also the way the movie progressed itself was pretty predictable.

I think the casting was good, but possibly with some script adjustments and a higher budget this might be getting more than a four or five star review. With a title like Dirty Teacher you would expect a lot more shock value out if the movie. Give it a go and see what you think.

Dirty Teacher-Clean Up the Chalkboard **1/2
edwagreen19 April 2013
Warning: Spoilers
To think, this all started because Mrs. Cohen, the high school English teacher, took maternity leave. The picture showed that they had to have better ways in determining who was fit to be in the classroom. Molly had a history before of lust in the classroom back east. That doesn't even include what she did to her mother as a child.

Molly went after that male student with a vengeance. Further evidence was overlooked, she changed that C grade to an A for the female so as to shut her up.

Right away, the Molly character came across as the sexual deviant. I had to laugh when the principal said that she was doing a good job. Had she observed her?

The film became nothing more than the blame game. Teacher kills student and frames a fellow student, the girlfriend of the deceased for his murder. Routine idea, outrageous teacher.

"You're having sex with our teacher!!!"
doug_park200128 February 2014
Warning: Spoilers
Ms. Matson, an attractive high school teacher unconvincingly played by Josie Davis, who suffered a very traumatic childhood develops an instant crush on Danny, an 18-year-old senior with affluent parents. She immediately begins seeing Danny after school, texting him, asking him out to dinner, and then over to her house. Jamie, Danny's smart, pretty, responsible girlfriend, soon catches on, and a really ugly situation unfolds. A few other little subplots and complications.

The title and cover should tell you a great deal about what to expect from DIRTY TEACHER, except to say that it's not that "dirty" in the way that many might hope (implied sex, a few cleavage close-ups, etc). It's all very contrived, with many BIG improbabilities. The pervasive soundtrack (monotonously ominous synthesizer and piano scores during all the tenser moments) doesn't help much either.

Still, there's definitely an audience for this sort of so-stupid-it's-funny entertainment, including yours truly when he's in the right (or wrong) mood. I have to admit that DIRTY TEACHER kept me watching and did not turn out to be 100% predictable. Finally, at least some of the acting by those who play the teenagers, parents, and cops would have been decent if the script and directing weren't so lame.

I agree with most criticisms!

Warning: Spoilers
Yes the plot was pathetic! Horny high school rich boy Danny is hell bent to have sex with his girlfriend Jamie who clearly is not ready to go there! So what does the little sh@t do? He has sex with the psycho cougar teacher! Frankly he deserved his fate! Yes the plot was unrealistic, oh and please do not insult the great Lynda Carter! And Danny totally deserved what he got!

In fact I don't know what Jamie saw in the pathetic loser anyway. For a start his dad just fired her dad for no reason after working for him for 18 years. She could have done better than slime ball Danny.

Way to Go LMN...smh
DE17927 November 2020
Warning: Spoilers
What a great unintentional comedy. I laughed from beginning to end. The acting was hilariously bad. The lame dialogue had me intrigued because I was amazed at how a Writer could create a script this horrible. The situations were so unbelievably unrealistic and silly that I had to rewind several scenes just to make sure I saw and heard what I did.

No one talks or acts like these people and even for a Lifetime movie it was pure gunk. The seductive teacher? Weird, over-the-top and ridiculous. The parents? Pointless, stale and clueless. The 'kids?' (who looked like they were in their 20's and about to graduate from college by the way) - unrealistic, corny and boring.

Nothing about this movie was remotely entertaining. The flashbacks were one too many and added nothing to the plot outside of why this teacher is creepy and trapped in an adolescent's body. Although I know most horny teenage boys would totally go all the way with their teacher if given the opportunity, the way this woman threw herself at the main character was embarrassing and quite comical. In one scene she outright flirts with him in front of his GF in the classroom. Yeah, right. Then there's the scene where she texts Danny (the teenage boy) and asks him if he knew about cars and if he would come look at hers. He's at a party but he leaves to go to her house. So he can fix her car. At night. With no tools. LOL. See? Pure comedy.

Don't waste your time watching Dirty Teacher because it's a hot, dirty mess.

Ridiculous
alannapower14 November 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I pretty much came to rant because as soon as I started this movie I got irritated.

Her parents are struggling financially, and had to use the college fund they made her, THAT MOST PEOPLE DON'T GET, and she throws a tantrum.

"How will I go to college if you guys don't have the money?" What is this? Like seriously Lifetime, make everyone in the real world feel like crap much? It's called loans and grants you spoiled little brat. Welcome to the real world.

I just got done watching a good lifetime movie, with real life hardships, "A Boy I Met Online", to this crap. So, maybe that's why I was really thrown for a loop.

Other than that, she's a stage 5 clinger. She didn't want to put out so he went to someone else. Not saying girls should put out, but if the guy doesn't want to wait, move on. It's high school, you have your whole life ahead of you. But don't stalk people, move the heck on, psycho.

Also, he's 18, there is nothing wrong with what they are doing, legally. Yes, a teacher messing around with a legal student, is morally messed up, but that's it.

It gets ridiculous as it goes on though... Jaime gets arrested, even they can see her phone pinged at her house all night, they would have seen she moved around inside her house.

They could see she was calling Danny from her house at that time. Then her dad walked up.

A car wouldn't just have blood on a bumper, if a car ran someone down to the point of killing them, without any sort of breakage.

The teacher took her phone to the park, it would have pinged there.

The movie ticket would have had the exact time bought on it, not to mention cameras at the theater, this wasn't the 80's. The movie ticket they used was pathetic.

Then the parents bond her out, and she's out in an hour? That doesn't happen, once you spend the night in jail, it can take another night to be released on bond.

Usually, I love Lifetime movies cuz they are easy, simple, and you don't have to think much. But I mean, I would have to be half dead to ignore all the issues with this one.

The only reason the teacher got caught was cuz Jaime violated her ankle monitor and the cops came. But no, they don't come in 10 minutes. It would be considered a violation, and they would issue a warrant, and it could take hours to days for an officer to follow-up.

I watched this on a quiet Friday night the summer it aired. You wouldn't think it, since it is a low budget made for TV movie, but it's actually really good. If you're looking for something with plenty of suspense and lots of action, you'll like it.

Our Dirty Little Secret
lavatch25 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Miss Molly Matson was an orphan who was treated abominably by her cruel foster mother. After being shamed for being a "freak," little Molly retaliated by murdering the abusive woman. As apparent in brief flashbacks, however, Molly still cannot get the shaming voice of the foster mother out of her mind.

The insecure Miss Matson joins the faculty at Wilfred High School as a replacement in English literature for Mrs. Cohen, who is on maternity leave. Instantly, Miss Matson sets her sights on star baseball player Danny Campbell, the boyfriend of young Jamie Hall. One thing leads to another, and Danny is sleeping with Miss Matson.

Due to the conniving teacher, the lousy student Danny is receiving A's while the straight-A student Jamie is receiving C's in senior English lit. With her admittance to Whittendale University in jeopardy and having lost her boyfriend to the "teacher temptress," Jamie catches Danny entering Miss Matson's home and confronts him. When Danny attempts to break off the relationship with his teacher, Miss Matson runs him over with her SUV, and plants evidence on the front bumper of Jamie's vehicle. Jamie is subsequently arrested for the murder of her boyfriend.

The strength of the film was in the crisp dialogue and excellent performances. One of our favorite actresses, Josie "Lifetime" Davis plays the role of the teacher temptress. The rest of the cast is stellar in making credible this melodrama that leads to the heroics of Jamie Hall and her resourceful parents in discovering the truth about Miss Matson.

There was an especially compact climactic scene in the inevitable confrontation of Jamie and Miss Matson. In the aftermath, the latter will have plenty of time in prison to reflect on her problem of low self-esteem. The film demonstrated the degree of hopeless wish-fulfillment involved in Miss Matson's desperate desire that her dalliance with Danny Campbell would be "our little secret." Unfortunately for her, it is now being broadcast to the world while Miss Matson is watching in her orange jumpsuit.

Is Molly Schickler?
swimmerleh8 February 2022
I can't explain it but I've watched this movie 20 times, on Lifetime television, channel 51 and over and over on Amazon Prime

Having a master's in social work. I've diagnosed Molly with schizophrenia. She sees her childhood face and hears voices anytime she looks in the mirror.

Josie Davis is so good in the part , I've searched for other movies with her in it. Anyone see the one where she plays a deranged realtor ?

The themes in Dirty Teacher are compelling : high school , older woman with younger man ., sexy black lingerie , steamy kissing , betrayal ( D betrayal of Jamie) and murder

The police investigation was unrealistic; Ma Matson has an alibi and movie tix stub but if the police had questioned the clerk and shown a foto the clerk would have remembered her coming as the movie was about to end. And what about Danny's hairs and fibers in Molly's house ?

The actress who played Lauren Hall did a great job as a detective but Mrs Campbell just said her lines.

In a few months I'll watch it again !

An Amazing Movie
kamranmashaal-7708426 March 2024
The Dirty Teacher" is a movie that's both fun and teaches you something. It keeps you interested till the end. Jammie and Danny's love story is really nice. But then, Miss Matson, the teacher, comes into the picture and things get interesting. I don't want to spoil the surprise, so you should watch it.

The movie mixes romance, suspense, and drama well. Each part of the story moves smoothly, making you want to know what happens next. It's a good choice if you want to enjoy yourself and maybe learn a thing or two.

The characters are relatable, and the plot keeps you guessing. So, if you're looking for a movie that's both entertaining and makes you think, give "The Dirty Teacher" a try. It's worth watching. Plus, the good thing is that it is available free on YouTube, so you can easily access it and enjoy the movie at your convenience.
