What I've learnt from this show is it has fans and haters, you need a certain sense of humour to enjoy it. I have this sense of humour and I absolutely love it. This is the last episode of The Royle Family and again it is another timeless classic with very funny jokes and a very funny plot. Just watch it and give it a go, I swear you won't be disappointed

Another XMAS Special - Cant We Just Be Happy With The Original 3 Series's?
Craigmiller914 February 2014
Warning: Spoilers
Craig Cash & Caroline Aherne seem to have have ran out of ideas for another of episode in the ever on-going XMAS Specials.
These XMAS specials that are being made are ruining the strong and much loved memories of the original three series's, the episode "Queen of Sheba" was a exception, which was a masterpiece from Cash & Aherne.
This episode seems to rely on weak jokes, and the plot is centred around Barbara who is trying to find her wedding ring, as she has lost it somewhere in the house, the sub-plots consist of Joe seeking love, a new gross, somewhat obnoxious neighbour.
Key characters absent from this episode include, Ralph Little (Anthony) , Jessica Hynes (Cheryl), which as a result has given a edge of weakness to the episode.
