The small village of Rothbury is put on high alert, as an angry Raoul Moat is prepared to kill innocent people, following some sensational articles that appeared in the press.
Moat at this point was branded as Britain's most wanted, it was a huge story, it was all over the news, and I'm sure many of us remember well how it came to an end.
It's been a very watchable three part series, it's been so consistent from beginning to end, this third episode was very good, and it deals with the inevitable demise of Raoul Moat. It still surprises me now that Gazza tried to help.
Once again it's a well produced episode, original news footage is well mixed in. It does highlight that certain journalists have zero empathy, zero consideration and zero care.
Very well acted once again, Mark Stokoe was terrific as Moat, Sonya Cassidy and Lee Ingleby were so good.
Once again I couldn't stop looking at Sim's hair.
8/10.
