Listen I generally enjoy this show. Especially the first season. The cliches and plot contrivances in S2 are too much. Jake leaves his family early juuust before his sisters important interview. Spoiler? Not if you have any idea how this show's so-predictable-they're-inevitable plot lines work. The scene where Katagiri explains that to Jake that he MUST come back to Tokyo IMMEDIATELY is perhaps the low-light of the series so far.
