Not much past the lead Carly Jones

Minimal plot, minimal acting, and no point in reality. Basic high school production quality overall. Only the lead actor Carly Jones does any decent acting in the film, and she carries what little there is (which isn't much). Only for those that tolerate low, low, low budget films.

Pure trash

I can't believe that I watched this film the whole way through, but it was rated with 5 stars so I thought it would be half decent.

Appalling script, dreadful acting, half decent scenery and no real story line. The best actor in it was her little son who seemed to be the only actor who got the drift of the film and added any drama or mystery to the whole film.

The story line is hardly there at all and it doesn't really go anywhere either, not to mention that the film is far too long because most of it is just fluffed out with scenery that is supposed to make it beautiful and dramatic but it fails miserably.

To be honest I have heard more frightening ghost stories when I was at boarding school.

Limited means

Warning: Spoilers
COLDWOOD is another indie horror flick set in and around a cabin in the woods. It was shot in Alaska which allows for some snowy scenery. The protagonist is a girl who goes off to live with her uncle who works as a charlatan medium. She soon becomes involved with something very real and very nasty and the story goes from there. The plot is overtly familiar, the direction is occasionally overblown, and the limited means prevent this film from working successfully.
