Beyond ridiculous

Warning: Spoilers
So I have little medical training and this was so cringey that it hurt. You don't establish a airway like that, a person don't just wake up and start walking after CPR, and the fact that they had to to hike out for help, Lord have mercy!

From the start, I buy Gabriella jumping in, she's an Olympic diver after all, piece of cake for her!

The fact that the car crash wasn't directly under the bridge, not buying it. The pounds of pressure would have driven it into the bottom.

Then her 'happening upon Bode who was just hanging out?' Them being swept miles down stream so far that the rescue crew couldn't get to them equally ridiculous. Second rule is stay where you can be found, both would have known this.

Ok, Bode's injuries or lack there if. That man would have not been walking around, much less carrying someone else!

This was just so far fetched that it really knocked down what is usually a decent show. Maybe borrow the SEAL Team writers they seems to know how to write a decent episode.

Follow on from a poor episode

Warning: Spoilers
The last episode was poor and I was hoping that this would be better, but it looks like they have been written together. The start is poor with all the crew being bought in for internal investigations regarding the antics of the last episode. The female investigator does nothing for the episode and is just like the annoying nosey neighbour in the street. The jump from the bridge part is equally pathetic. The female probie jumps from a bridge into a free flowing river, dragged by a current and then into a larger body of water and then just happens to find a drowning Brodie which she then pulls up with no problem at all. Also I don't care how hot California is, you will be a shivering wreck when coming out of the water and then they stumble on a rescue mission who was the hit and run driver? It's just ridiculous story telling. Hope they get better writers for season 2.

Unlikely

Warning: Spoilers
I get that this is fiction, but it's very unlikely that the family of a person who caused a hit and run accident would sue a fire department for her death. I could have seen the parents of the teens they rescued previously suing for something, but not her family that's just dumb. That really bothered me. Aside from the fact that they were "miles" from the accident site. Having grown up in the region, you learn early on to stay where you are. There were ways they could have kept warm and safe. Then the investigator comes up with the story and no one gets reprimanded?? This episode was so bad in so many ways.
