The mistress of a notorious gangster, El Jefe, who wants to take over the drug trade in Cuesta Verde, is spending the night of Christmas Eve in a police station; the next morning she will be transferred to a maximum security prison. A young district attorney tries to get her to co-operate with him and reveal what she knows about El Jefe, but three female assassins known as "The Furies" are already inside the station, determined to shut her mouth. This is possibly the most ambitious and stylistically directed episode of the series, packing a lot of influences in just under 30 minutes ("Assault on Precinct 13", "The Usual Suspects", "Grindhouse" films - with deliberately poor print quality at times, spaghetti Westerns - especially in the music score, and probably others I missed). It's a little slow to get going, but there are some iconic girls-with-guns images near the end - the scenes with The Furies are what "Femme Fetales" should have been all along, or at least more frequently. IMHO, Kristen DeLuca is one of the three or four hottest women ever to appear in this series. **1/2 out of 4.
