The tension is brutal
pensman5 November 2023
Harry is losing some of his smarts. He gets a sense something is wrong, especially after the Nguyen brothers are murdered, but he misses that his house has been searched and that his car is bugged. Worse, he looks under the front of the car but fails to look under the rear of the car where the bug is. But he is looking into Ellis and Wilson. Unknown to Harry these dirty cops are now working with Maddie and are trying to pump her for info on Harry's case, and also are setting her up to take a fall. Moe meanwhile is thinking with another part of his anatomy trying to impress a woman he knows nothing about, but he does find the tracker Ellis and Wilson put under his car. Let's just say the tension levels are rising and there are still episodes to come.

Frustrating

Warning: Spoilers
I know Maddie thinks she can trust all cops but my goodness!!! She needs to be a little more discerning or she will get herself or her father killed. These are very dangerous people! She does seem to have her father's intuition but it always comes too late.

I love that Honey and Bosch are so close and not in a relationship way. They have a lot of history and it's nice to see they have each others back.

I love the tension of this series and I know it will all pay off in the last few episodes. That's the beauty of this show it builds somewhat slowly but it keeps you engaged and wondering how it will be resolved.

Bosch fan for life!!!

She's Still There

When Maddie sees that piece of crap kick the hell out of the perpetrator, some lights should go on, especially considering her recent treatment by an evil guy. She is so full of herself and her ego that she has to handle everything without help. She's going to blow this wide open. I liked the ending because those two cruds (who Bosch is now aware of) are zooming behind him, going up the hill to his place. The press is now involved and they are screwing up some of the investigation, scaring people off. Anyway, once Maddie is elsewhere, the show moves along at a nice clip. I look forward to the next episode. It's going to be a hoot.

Kidding Me ....
mwgeever30 November 2023
My God, the two bad cops in this have to be the two most ridiculously buffoonish characters written for television in recent memory. All they're missing are red noses and clown shoes. They are about as intimidating as a couple of kindergarten girls, and it's hard to even look forward to Bosch (the real one, not the pathetically horrific actress daughter) taking them down. The other side story with the tech is boring me to death - I can only assume there is some big payoff coming from that?? It is nice to see Titus Welliver do his thing, but the writers need to do a better job researching and writing better bad guys for this show.

We shouldn't accept this as a viewer...

Warning: Spoilers
Why do people accept weak and lazy writing and in fact award these episodes 8/10?

In the last episode we see the hacker dude open a safe with a knife because it "has a security flaw".

How could he identify the right make and model, and what are the chances of such a safe hitting the market? And since when does a hacker (which has time over time been used in this show to circumvent having to be creative in the writing department, him resorting to being some kind of Neo from the Matrix) extensive knowledge on safe brands, models and their flaws?

In the beginning of this episode we see the two evil dudes pushing Bosch And The Hacker Dude off a cliff with their car.

This results in plenty of potential evidence by investigating the vehicle damage on both cars, but okay let's assume they have back channels who can repair their car. Even more important is the fact they can't be sure they killed them. It's a hope. Since they just killed the two Asian dudes from the jewelry store in broad daylight without wearing masks (no cameras or witnesses?), why not wait for them at Bosch' place and shoot them? Perhaps this time with masks?

This has become a very weak show and it's all due to the abysmal writing. I haven't even started on the wooden dialogue in this show, but let's be fair; that has been an issue since season 1.

Bosch team: please hire writers who are more critical about their own output.
