Episode 202

Warning: Spoilers
So, this show remains interesting, but this is sjust way too slow-moving. We are bordering on Mad Men pacing, just without the great acting, clever lines and marketing of fun products.

You have to give us more than this in an episode. I get that they are slowly introducing the new setting and that we will surely meet some bad guys soon and there will be danger from areas other than not seen crocodiles, but this is just too uneventful for my liking. I really don't think anyone thought they were going to kill off the main character in episode two of the second season so there was no believability to that danger.

Hallmark quality.

This episode adds nothing to plot. It doesn't move the story forward. It is full of clichés and tired tropes. I enjoyed Season 1 and was excited for these fresh episodes. This episode is hot garbage. Perhaps it's reflecting events in the source material, but they should have skipped this chapter.

There is virtually no chemistry, no stage craft, no fundamental acting. Not to diminish the millions spent and the actors' commitment and professionalism. I blame the teleplay and the directing.

I feel cheapened for having watched this episode. If I had skipped it I wouldn't be in the dark about any events going into Ep 3.

Poor quality

This episode does not help in any way. Two episodes gone so far from season 2 and we still don't have any answers from the finale from season 1, or a clue about the main topic from season 2. If you wait to year for a new season, you expect some answers, or at least introduce the main topic of the season in the premiere. But last week it was all about the past and why they left, and this week we were expecting some present time action.

I get that they want to give us scenes that improve the family relationships, but in the same time they should also work on the main topic, otherwise we just have boring episodes.
