I’ve got a wild trailer here for you to watch for a supernatural horror action thriller called Devil’s Revenge. The film stars William Shatner, who was the original writer of the script, but the final script is credited to Maurice Hurley (Star Trek: The Next Generation).
The movie follows a down-on-his-luck archaeologist, played by Jason Brooks, who “returns from a cave expedition that contains a cursed relic that’s also a portal to Hell.” In the process he curses his family and the only way to stop the curse is to go back to the cave and destroy the relic.
So, Shatner, Jerry Ryan, and others join him on his journey and they end up battling some horrific demons from hell. This looks like a completely silly film, but it also could be fun to watch. Watch the trailer below and let us know if it’s something...

Signature Entertainment has debuted a brand new UK trailer for the indie survival thriller which they're now releasing with the title Hold Your Breath this fall. Mathieu and Anna must face the fog if they have any hope of saving their daughter, who is trapped in a medical tank down below. Starring Olga Kurylenko & Romain Duris, with Fantine Harduin, Michel Robin, Anna Gaylor, Réphaël Ghrenassia, and Erja Malatier. This is yet another high concept urban survival thriller but it actually looks pretty cool,...

This weekend Steven Spielberg’s magical fantasy film The Bfg premiered at the Cannes Film Festival. It was met with mixed reviews. Some people seemed to enjoy it, while others were disappointed with how it turned out. Many people are saying that it is a movie that kids will enjoy, but that it’s lacking that Spielberg magic that many of us were hoping to see.
A new trailer was released for the film, and it’s pretty damn wonderful! It’s full of magic and excitement, and it sure does make the movie look good! Of course, that’s what a movie trailer is supposed to do. It’s supposed to get people like me excited for the movie. As a fan of Spielberg and this book, of course I’m going to see the movie. Toby Meakins has an inventive genre mind, and he deserves a dozen phone calls from Relativity and Alliance and any other production company churning out low-budget, quality horror stories. It’s a seductive short film, perfectly confident that the stage its setting will raise your curiosity enough to keep you around for the hammer blow. Instead of quick cuts and jump scares, this ghost story relies on a beautifully ruinous setting, a dare from a good friend and a gorgeous dead thing. Like most great horror, it features characters who make a trade — they push the limits of their power over something they don’t understand while sacrificing the safety of a dull world. As they push farther, the danger increases. Like gambling without knowing the stakes. What...

The film comes from The Asylum, the production company that has created such fan-favorite hits like “Sharknado” and “Z Nation.” The company is once again working with writer/director Jared Cohn, known for “Born Bad” and “Hold Your Breath.” The film stars Carpenter as a woman [ Read More ]

There’s one of two things you can be almost guaranteed of when you see a story that takes place on a train – romance, or a murder.
Mummy On The Orient Express
By Jamie Mathieson
Directed by Paul Wilmshurst
As a farewell fling, The Doctor takes Clara on a trip aboard the Orient Express in space, exactingly copied from the original, except for the bit about being spaceworthy. It becomes quickly apparent that all is not well on the craft – a mysterious unseen beast is killing people exactly 66 seconds after the victim sees it – and no one else does. It turns out this particular journey is a massive two-fold trap – the ship is filled with scientists versed in areas of research that pertain to the beast, and are pressed into service to capture it, by any means necessary.
The Doctor quickly joins the press gang, understanding that the only way...

“Help him. And don’t be afraid.” – The Eleventh Doctor
The best things about the return of Doctor Who this weekend. (Yep – Spoiler Alert!)
Hello, the Paternoster Gang! T. Rex in the Thames! Awesome opening credits! This time around they were created by a fan. Stephen Moffat saw his work on YouTube and said: “I thought it was the only new idea for a Doctor Who title scene since 1963. And we got in touch and we said ‘Ok, we’re gonna do that one.’” “Hold your breath!” Clara Oswald facing down the droid! The Eleventh Doctor! And the Twelfth!
“I don’t think I know who the Doctor is anymore,” said Clara, standing in for the rest of us. Of course the companions have always played the role of the de facto us, but I think this is the first time that an overtly honest reaction to the Doctor’s regeneration has been expressed.

Don’t look for any lingering Matt Smith-isms when Peter Capaldi debuts as the well-traveled title character in the Season 8 premiere of BBC America’s Doctor Who (airing Saturday, Aug. 23 at 8/7c). Executive producer Steven Moffat said he and his new leading man deliberately avoided picking up tics and habits from the “Eleventh Doctor” as they fashioned a regenerated “No. 12.”

The Locarno Film Festival has announced their lineup for the 67th edition, taking place this August between the 6th and 16th. It speaks for itself, but, um, wow...
"Every film festival, be it small or large, claims to offer, if not an account of the state of things, then an updated map of the art form and the world it seeks to represent. Earlier this month, we showed you a piece of artwork from “Ghoulish” Gary Pullin for Waxwork Records’ upcoming Creepshow vinyl release, but that was only the tip of the iceberg. Enjoying some down time after a night of work, Nicole Scherzinger headed to a late dinner at Mr. Chow on Sunday (November 24) in London.
Decked out in a curve hugging chocolate brown frock the gorgeous “Don’t Hold Your Breath” singer was accompanied at the hot spot by her fellow “X-Factor “ judges.
Earlier in the evening, the 35-year-old’s act on the hit UK show was voted off after failing to impress British viewers.
Disappointed at the turn of events, Nicole exclaimed, "I just can't believe this. These two acts should be in the finals. I am so disappointed and furious with the British public right now that my girls is in the bottom two for the third time."...

"Don't Hold Your Breath," indeed! Nicole Scherzinger and Lewis Hamilton were rumored to be rekindling their on-and-off romance in August, but according to the singer herself, the two are merely platonic pals. "We're just friends," the 35-year-old pop star tells The Sun. "Just friends." While they recently enjoyed a secret rendezvous at a London hotel, Scherzinger remains adamant that they are both single. "We just, um, met up to speak that night," she explains. "That's all." Of course, that doesn't mean a reconciliation is totally off the table. "Whatever the future holds, I don't rule anything out," Scherzinger said. "I also don't...

Some episodes are still in production stage (almost finished).... more suspense and great episodes are on the way. Hold your breath tight …..-Animator(Beware the Batman)"
So, from what Kamal tells us, one reason for the delay is that not all of the series episodes are even finished! So chill out bat-fans! lol.

In theaters October 4, Gravity centers around a pair of astronauts struggling to survive after a disaster in space separates them from their ship. Bullock plays Dr. Ryan Stone, a brilliant medical engineer on her first shuttle mission, with veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky (Clooney) in command of his last flight before retiring. On a seemingly routine spacewalk, disaster strikes and the shuttle is destroyed, leaving the astronauts completely alone -- tethered to nothing but each other and spiraling out into the blackness.
