I think, putting aside the merits of Black Ops, it's a step forward for the BAME community that BAME performers are leading the way in creating TV series and starring in them as well.
I had high hopes for Black Ops, and the season finale was kind of a redemption of sorts, with the MOD and Afghan fighters getting in the mix believe it or not. The stop and search line at the end was very pointed, due to the unfortunate racial disparities of stop and search.
Hopefully season two will be better.
