It's Christmas at Woodstone Manor, Thor accuses a liberal Samantha of cultural appropriation, and Jay's sister Bela arrives, with a guest, Eric, a guy who's totally in love with her, trouble is, she has unfinished business with Trevor.

This was a really sweet, festive episode, and nice that they decided to do a two part story. The only step it out wrong, was reminding us of those abysmal Hallmark Christmas films, can you think of anything worse?

Nigel and Isaac's slowly developing relationship has been quite sweet, hopefully they'll take that somewhere.

Andrew Leeds is really cute as Eric, the kind of guy that you'd expect to see on one of those horrendous syrupy Christmas films.

A funny ending, the most unexpected combination imaginable?

8/10.

The Christmas Spirit Part One

I wish we see more interactions with guests, or more guests at the bed and breakfast period, but instead they went for another family member returning. Wouldn't it make more sense for a guest to stop by around the Christmas season? Regardless, this was an okay episode but not one that I think too many people will remember much from after it airs.

Two part episodes are usually a smart decision and lead to fun and compelling TV so hopefully that trend continues with the episode following this.

Ghosts is a breath of fresh air and an improvement from what we usually get on broadcast network sitcoms, but we still need more than this.

Maybe the worst Chistmas Show ever

After I seen the entire hour show I can't but wonder. Why did they ever write a Xmas show. It feels like the Xmas part was actually just taking a back seat to the other plot lines of the episode. Writers meeting... ok this show is gonna be about a first gay kiss and also another plot of how a woman tried to get her fawning love interest to almost kill himself so she could hook up with a ghost. That screams Christmas to me!!! You know makes me wonder what is really going on in the writing room. You just leave the Christmas part out, but because they didn't almost seems like they are mocking it.
