The first episode that lives up to an average episode of the older seasons

Warning: Spoilers
This is the first episode of the season I could see myself rewatching, cause it's actually great.

The stuff I liked: The comedy was weak in most other episodes, but a surprising amount of it worked here, maybe it's because it wasn't drowned in in your face commentary jokes and maybe because the episode was actually well paced. The episode didn't feel rushed at all and had a plot that was genuinely creative. The characters were written very well this episode, I like the paring of Zoidberg and bender.

The stuff I didn't like: the episode did occasionally have it's less funny moments and some of the writing was a little rough around the edges and the comedy still didn't quite reach previous seasons (still a very funny episode)

Overall, this episode was very good and I might watch all the Futurama Christmas episodes at Christmas.

2 GREAT episodes in a row!!

Well I feel like they finally found their footing. These last 2 episodes were the best in the season. This episode is my favorite with episode 5 being my second favorite.

The plot is so wacky and fun. I loved seeing a Zoidberg and Bender centric episode. We don't see them interact that much and they have alot of chemistry. I would love to see more of them in future episodes.

I love how this episode is about time travel. Bring 2 things I love, time travel and Christmas specials. There are some relevations in this episode that I think are fun.

It was cute seeing fry be able to go the professor and cubert and also leelas family for Xmas. It was sweet seeing Amy's kids again and I love how everybody is having fun. It's a silly fun episode and I'm loving every second.

Also really nice tribute to Coolio at the end.

Overall this episode is amazing, there's not much that I could say i didn't like because it was genuinely really good.

Futurama back to their roots!!!!

WOW!!! Another great entry in the series! This episode had it all! It was funny, had a ton of sweet family moments and elements of time travel which always hits perfectly for the shows core! And better yet It was a Christmas episode! What can't you like about this episode! And the ending.. they did amazing with honoring Coolio and it was sad but great to see him being able to protray his character of kwanzaaBot one last time and he didn't disappoint! It's still great to see Fry's and Leela's relationships still thriving! And it was great seeing Cubert again finally!!!! Also Bender and Zoidberg is the perfect pair we did not know we needed!! Definitely the best episode of the season.

Great episode. Futurama is back for real!

Despite a few wimper episodes after the premiere, I have huge confidence that the Futurama revival will be back on a consistent streak of greatness after watching this one. Overall a really funny episode - a lot of fun lore and backstory sprinkled in with some really funny jokes and an interesting duo pair up.

If there's one thing I liked about the Comedy Central era, it's that they have a lot of interesting choices for duo-focused episodes. You have Bender and Hermes, Bender and Amy - and now it carries onto the Hulu era with Bender and Zoidberg!

Despite this episode being released way before Winter season actually begins, I actually got festive and nostalgic just watching it. We're back baby!

Best episode of the season!

Warning: Spoilers
This was my favorite episode of this new season. The main reason is because it focuses on Zoidberg, who might be my favorite character. Bender's great too and guess who the secondary character is? It's rare to see them interacting. This episode features Professor Farnsworth going back in time to turn Santa good. Zoidberg and Bender then travel through time themselves and accidentally kill robot Santa.

We get to see Kif and Amy's children celebrate Christmas. I like how this seems to have gained continuity. It even has a nice ending, with the characters getting saved from Robot Santa. Yes, it is weird to have a Christmas episode released in August, but hey, I'm seeing Halloween stuff in stores now (really). I loved seeing the stuff from past episodes and even a reference to "Disenchantment". For the first time, I'm really glad this show came back. ****

Really enjoyed this episode

The combination of a Bender and Zoidberg episode is awesome! Until this episode I was a bit worried that Futurama has lost their touch, but they regained it big time. It is also great to see that some assets form the past are back, like the time traveling machine. The reference to disenchantment was also fun.

With this episode I get the feeling that the voice actors are getting more back on track and that they feel confident.

Rest in peace Coolio (actor of Kwanzaa bot that passed away last year), luckely he was able and willing to voice the kwanzaa bot one last time. It is nice to see that the Futurama writers praised him one last time.
