Pretencious.

When you have pretencious dialogues on top of mediocre acting, that rarely sums up to be a good movie.

A lovely mood reminscent of Linklater's 'Before..." trilogy
Brontebelle7 August 2019
A highly enjoyable film, lightly reminiscent of the Before Sunrise trio. Tom Silva's script is charming and intriguing as it takes viewers along a journey of human discovery between two people; one drawn to the other, the other drawn in... Gustavo Bernal-Mancheno's direction gives the film a quiet immediacy which evolves through the moody color tones, breezy scene compositions and high wit delivered by Tom and Fawzia in their main characters' various tête-à-têtes. Stimulating dialogue! The film also showcases familiar Chicago sights beautifully juxtaposed against the unfamiliar, more quiet and out-of-the-way places beloved to Chicagoans. Bravo on this first feature film!
