The inquest into Tom's death begins, and Phil uses her connections to influence the outcome, but PC Karim has taken note of one or two discrepancies at the crime scene.
I was honestly expecting some sort of light hearted drama, one where a group of old friends, get drunk, tell stories, and lovingly help an old friend, boy was I wrong.
Ken and Phil are now essentially guilty of murder under UK law, and it's going to be fascinating to see how the pair continue, how they manage to deal with their act, and what fate awaits them.
Superbly acted and thought provoking, this is exactly what good drama is all about.
Lindsay Duncan continues to shine through as Phil, she really is tremendous in the part, she's so good. I am fascinated by the way in which Phil is using her former career to manipulate things.
8/10.
