And this is why I don't use social media

Evil has been great this season so far, I'm so happy it moved to Paramount cuz it's allowed them to make it darker and R rated, plus longer episodes. But this particular episode inspired me to review. Also I just started reviewing recently again because I lost my original account somehow and couldn't get it back and that's why there's only a couple reviews now.

Anyway, this is one of the best episodes of the series I think. There was an episode of The Orville season that also dealt with the dangers of the world being obsessed with likes and dislikes. Also how you never know who you are really talking to behind those avatars.

This episode shows just how crazy far some people will go to get noticed online. And also how these algorithms are learning every single thing about you without you even noticing, that's pretty damn scary if you ask me. I mean imagine because of them all your info about what you do, what you like, what you look up online being out there in the world for strangers to see and could use to exploit you. Someone just knowing your birthdate can be harmful, since so many people use familiar easy to remember passwords like their own birthday or a birthday of someone close to them, they just have to check your closest friends you talk to and boom! Bank account access!

Anyway I should end with I don't actually hate on some uses of social media. Using Facebook I was able to reconnect with a guy I hadn't seen in many years after my family moved when i was a kid, and this guy was also my first love, and is now my current love. People just be responsible with what you do or say online, and make your passwords something completely random so nobody can figure them out.
