I really like this show, I'm not here to dunk on it at all, it has elements of many fun and favourite shows, The X Files, Grimm, Supernatural etc but the habit (no nun pun intended) of playing the 'opening credits' so far through an episode, on this occasion 19mins into a 47min episode is irritating to say the least, put them at the beginning where they belong, flinging them into the middle of a show spoils the narrative flow, theres no good reason to do it, its not quirky or interesting enough to be quirky or interesting, theres a reason the phrase 'reinventing the wheel' is shorthand for doing something pointless and unnecessary the wheel didn't need reinventing, it works perfectly well, so do opening credits at the opening of a tv show.
