I've lived in St Louis all my life and I never noticed or appreciated the bricks until I watched this documentary. Now I can't stop looking for and noticing these elegant works of art.
I wish our baseball stadium used old bricks, it would have been a landmark, instead a cookie cutter stadium.
There should be a buy back program to help get our bricks back in the hands of contractors so we can renovate and/or build with our heritage.
